We bought ours two months ago and it’s been a LIFE SAVER for us! We both struggle to remember to scoop and we had so many different litter boxes we’ve tried. The finally pulled the trigger and spent the money and it was worth every penny! My only qualms are we had a minor bit of urine leak through onto the outside but I have not seen any since. Also the mat that came with it is garbage 😂. Couldn’t get it to lay flat at all because it was bent from shipping. We just use a reg rug and vacuum it. Our 2 cats definitely were scared of it at first. Then they used it and we were excited- then they hated it and one actually pooped on our carpet somewhere else in the house in protest 😂 I was determined so I turned it off and filled it with treats and catnip constantly and really encouraged them with positive enforcement: then a couple days later they were using it and then another day I would clean it manually periodically so it wouldn’t scare them. Bada bing here were are 2 months later and they use it perfectly! It’s so easy to empty. It keeps the stink down SO MUCH and we didn’t buy any of the sprays or filters. I think with 2 cats we empty it at most 2 times a week. Usually the first time it says it needs empty I open it and shimmy the poop and pee down into the bag and even it out and it gives it a couple more days. Sometimes there’s some minor things like I have to push the button a bunch of times or a glitch in the app but nothing major. I love it. I’m so grateful for it. This litter box is a game changer!! I love being a cat owner but I've always hated the smell, mess, and upkeep of litter box ownership! This litter box is amazing!! No smell and no mess. My elderly cat is able to use it comfortably and took to it immediately with zero transition (she must love it too!) Since she had mostly stopped using her older litter boxes (too hard to get in and out of), I love the piece of mind of getting a notification every time she uses the litter box (yippee, she went where she's supposed to). My kids also love watching the self cleaning in action (I've programed it to delay cleaning for a few minutes after she goes to avoid scaring my cat, which also allows me to alert my kids so they can come watch the cleanup.) The cleaning action doesn't bother my cay at all, which I was worried about. The litter box was super easy to set up and use. And I'm just amazed at how clean it stays--no litter gets tracked or inadvertently scooped outside the litter box for the first time in all my years of pet ownership. Total game changer! It's a LOT of $ to spend on a litter box obviously, but for all the problems it's solved and how well it works so far, I can say it's worth it! ... show more

Spray attachment doesn't work. Liquid spilled out causing batteries to catch fire. App fails to recognize battery power. App needs rebooting constantly. Box stops spinning in mid cycle. Completely stopped working after a year & half. Out of warranty. The WORST Customer Support ever experienced. Can only leave messages. Never returns call & rarely speak to reps. Reps ask for tons of info, serial numbers, dates, big waste of time. Reps email links that go nowhere & absolutely NO follow up. A huge waste of money. A $500 non functioning cat box that you can buy for $10 at Walmart. ... show more

This thing has been amazing in all ways except one. When it cleans after it’s been used it throws away a lot of the good litter into the waste bin and litter is expensive so I find myself sometimes dishing out the good litter to put back into the box since it doesn’t do a good job separating. I bought the PuraMax in June from here. It’s a very great product and works very well. We use the manual cleaning mode (Kitten mode) since our cats are young. We are able to manually start it from the machine or through the app. So far, we do love the product and it makes having two cats so much easier. The product itself deserves 5 stars. (But do make sure to place it on a completely flat surface, make sure the mat doesn’t go under the device, otherwise it will effect the sensors and cause it to constantly pause while doing the self-cleaning.) We got the N50 version which comes with odor control in the waste bin and that’s worked well so far. However, I need to inform other customers of the possibility of confusion between their products. When I purchased the PuraMax N50, I thought it meant “PuraMax + N50” bundle. I didn’t realize it was “PuraMax N50” model, which means you can only use the N50 pads for odor control and not the Spray if you want to in the future, even though the Spray is available for purchase separately. The PuraMax N50 comes with a hatch that lacks some plastic tabs to hold onto the Spray, by design. My family recently gifted us a Spray. I was glad to try it out, only to find out that the hatch is incompatible because it was designed to be incompatible. I contacted Customer Service and the rep replied very quickly, to their credit. However, I would have to pay $20 for a new hatch, just to hold the Spray because I purchase the PuraMax N50 instead of PuraMax Full Set. Again, this is why it’s confusing… when you say “full set” it sounds like the other options are also sets (or bundles). Which is why I thought the PuraMax N50, was the PuraMax N50 set, instead of PuraMax N50 model (incompatible with Spray). After trying to explain this to the Customer Service Rep (and the fact that we bought a bunch of their other devices and the backpack), they offered to check my warranty and will ship me out a new hatch without charging me the fee, which I appreciate. Also the fact that if I use the Spray, won’t I buy more refills from them? However, I do think they need to improve their Product Listing and make it more clear that the PuraMax N50 is actually *physically* different from the “PuraMax Full Set” and designed to be incompatible with the Spray (which is also sold separately). All in all, I do recommend the physical product (5 stars), it is amazing at its primary job. ... show more
