I don’t what kind of voodoo created this box but it Truely is non stick. There is a cat in my home (thanks for that, Kids). She is lazy, overweight (no matter that she’s been on a strict diet for a year) and seems to enjoy making her point by crapping on the floor in front of her box. Apparently my once a day efforts at cleaning her other litter box were unacceptable. She refuses enclosed boxes and self cleaning boxes as well. To say I was not pleased with her behavior is an understatement. So I bought this gem and a litter genie so that I could clean up her business several times a day and she has not had any overt terrorizing incidences since. I hate her less. Apparently the feeling is mutual since I don’t have to clean her turds off the floor, or smell them any longer. For now, we call an uneasy truce.

I am a Veterinarian and have 9 cats in my home. I use a biodegradable clumping litter in my boxes. In the past I have always had problems with soaked litter sticking to the bottom of the litter box. All of my boxes are cleaned twice daily but the problem of stuck litter always occurred. This litter box is the first I have ever used where there is no sticking. It is truly amazing. It is like a non-stick skillet. The clumped litter that is on the bottom of the box just slides onto the litter scoop with nothing sticking to the bottom. The box also has nice high sides to help prevent too much litter throw out. As a professional who knows a thing or two about litter boxes I would highly recommend this box. It is also made of very strong material and the non-stick coating is genius. I'm very surprised someone didn't think of this sooner!

I have an 18 pound 10 year old male cat. I needed a new litter box and was attracted to the high sides on this my cat is a digger, he digs a hole does his business then buries it. He also like to pee towards the side of the box which always stuck to my last litter box (reason for shopping for a new one). This box was a little more than I expected to pay, but due to the build thickness of the actual sides/bottom of box, I expect this will me as long as having to purchase 3 of my last box bought at a local pet store. Which, in the long run is a savings. From day one I've always had a problem with the clumping litter sticking to the box on sides and bottom. I'm not sure what this box is coated with but whoever thought of coating the box I thank you!! My scooper easily slides across the bottom making it so much easier to clean. I have had NO sticky sides/bottom or small clumps to sift through to find since using this box.... I wish I could say the same for my scooper! I will definately be looking for a scooper made from this maker using the same materials. 2+month update - I still love this box (as much as you can love a litter box). There is not one scratch on this at all. Usually since I use clumping litter and my cat like to dig, I'd always have to scrape the box and it looked like it was 10 years old after a month. I've used this for several months and nothing sticks to it. Still highly recommend

I have two cats, age 17 and 5, with very different personalities and nearly polar opposite bathroom habits. Because of this, it’s been especially tough to find a litter box setup that they can “agree on.” I’ve always bought the standard litter boxes that you find at the grocery store or Petco/Petsmart. There’s nothing particularly wrong with those boxes, but recently, as I was about to replace the box (I do so about every 3-6 mo), I came to Amazon to see what I could find. After a lengthy search, I chose this litter box. I was reluctant to spend the money on a cat waste receptical... especially since I’m used to paying only $10 in the past. But so far, I’m very happy with my purchase and feel the money was well worth it. You can clearly tell this box is high quality compared to the average litter box. The plastic is much thicker and sturdier, and it’s fairly non-stick. I also really appreciate the high sides. I wanted something that was high on the sides to prevent litter from going everywhere, but low enough in the front that my senior kitty can get in and out. Oh, and also something that was big enough for an adult cat to actually get around in (most other boxes I found were super small). This box fits the bill! When in doubt, spend the extra money, especially if your cats are extra messy or picky.

Where has this litter box been all my life? I have a big cat who is very finicky about her litter box and her litter, and is getting more so with age. She had become a furious digger who flings litter out of the box, sometimes leaves little surprises outside the box, and strenuously objects to the lingering odor from any sticky bits that you can never quite scrape up. That also meant more frequent pan scrubbings for me. We've had none of those problems since I bought this fantastic litter box. The main reason I bought this was for the better quality plastic and the non-stick coating. With my cat, the urine tends to sink down to the bottom, even though it does clump. I scoop at least once a day, but unless I scoop out each and every clump the very moment she steps from the box, I'm GOING to have a few clumps that will slightly adhere to the bottom once they've sat for a bit. Where this box really comes through is that even the sticky clumps are SO VERY EASY to scoop up. No more chiseling away with all my might only to leave behind a concrete-hard layer that has bonded with the plastic and practically has to be sandblasted off. This thing is HUGE, giving her ample space to use one end for Number One and the other end for Number Two, which is just what she likes. I never really had enough room for two boxes, and now we are both happy. The sides are just high enough so that we have no more litter scratched all over the floor. She uses the box every single time, without hesitation, and she's not claustrophobic and cramped. The opening is low enough that she doesn't have to jump to get inside. I recommend this highly.
