Perfect burner that gives off a very realistic fire. Entire set came with all parts needed and was easy to install. I replaced my 30 year old gas line (which was the hardest part of the install). Embers give off a very nice glow underneath making it look realistic. Only downfall was the price but I am still very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend this burner. I purchased a new burner set for my gas fireplace. RH Peterson is a great company with good customer service. I purchased from them to upgrade my old Rh Peterson burner which is 24 years old and still working fine.

    • Good product, could offer better instructions
Once I switched the right side connection to the left side to match my fireplace, I was able to easily install with a manual pilot. Would have been nice if the manufacturer provided specific instructions on the switch especially related to the knob on the pilot. Other minor point is they indicate the pilot must be 3/4" off the floor, but the connection point on the burner is too low for this, definitely a design miss. ... show more

Easy to install - all required parts included. After setup and addition of realfyre ceramic logs (sold separately) gives a natural look with good ember glow. Lava added separately to enhance look.

    • Easy to assemble with modifications and tools
The problem was that the threads for the parts that attach the gas connector hose make it impossible for the hose to face away from the front of the fireplace. However, the instructions show the gas hose to the side of the burner and extending towards the back of the fireplace (behind the flames). Also I had to get some vice grips to hold the rigid pipe steady. ... show more
