  • Works great
This replaced the original, probably 30 years old. The old one was hard to turn and I was worried there wasn’t enough flow. The new one is great. Turns easily. I’m now running it at a lower level. Easily replaced the old one.

  • Exact Replacement for my Rainbow Chlorinator
Not much to say…. It’s the identical flow valve that originally came on my Rainbow chlorinator. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the price. The price seemed excessive for a product like this.

  • Works great if you do not overtighten
Great at metering the CL2 into the pool. The drawback is that it is plastic and if overtightened, it will crack. It is very easy to overtighten it.

  • Don’t over tighten

  • Crack at parting line.
I don't know if it's manufactured differently than the valves I've purchased in the past but the last 4 that I've bought all cracked at the molded parting line. I use these valves as metering valves for my softwash setup and the last lasted for 5 years. I ordered these and I only hand tighten because they will definitely crack if over tightened. Assembled with no cracks at all and during the 1st use my pump loses prime and what do you know, cracked valve. Ordered a couple of more and again after a couple of uses same exact problem but this time every valve has hairline cracks. Wasted a couple hundred dollars at this point and will just pay the cost of the more expensive gf valve. ... show more

  • Be Kind and Honest
Really sort of expensive for one small part---it might have been smarter to buy the whole unit .... but I am really glad that I can still get parts for a 20+-year-old unit, and my pool looks great gain, so I am grateful.
