After running it for a few weeks I needed to do the deep cleaning of the blower housing and found that the gasket material was actually singed or burned. The material is NOT fiberglass. This could cause a fire or exhaust, carbon monoxide to enter the house. This is a HUGE flaw! The blower itself is decent, it’s got roller bearings, they are just dust sealed, which means that the grease will dry up in the bearings. The right bearing would be a permanently lubricated sealed bearing, a good one is rated up to 250F (mcmastercarr) 608 2RS Housing of the bearing is not tight, fits good on the shaft. ... show more

Great....but need to install this. I purchased this to replace one that is 9 years old and squeaking. I reset the unit and low and behold, its quiet! Go figure but I expect it to start making noise again before the winter is overso I'll send an update. Shipping and packaging was great!!
