These are a fantastic wireless headset. They are extremely comfortable, sound pretty good, and have pretty decent microphone quality. For a wireless headset, this is an achievement. The sound quality is good enough to use for gaming, everyday use, and music listening. It has no award-winning sound but for a headset especially at this price, it is fantastic. The last wireless headset I had the microphone was unusable, it cost more than this pair and the mic was terribly inconsistent and all-around awful sounding. My friends immediately noticed the change in how I sounded with this microphone and all agreed it sounded much better. I would absolutely recommend this headset to anyone.     • A worthy upgrade

I never got the chance to have the Cloud II, but I did have the original Cloud and it was really top tier at the time and compared favorably to my Creative headset. Recently did a little splurge and decided to get the Cloud III and I am extremely impressed. Sound - compared to the Cloud and the Tournament X from Creative, the Cloud III has a much richer sound. It’s pretty neutral with only a slight boost in the bass and the rest of fairly flat. These actually sound GOOD listening to music! Sometimes gaming headsets are one-trick ponies, but the Cloud III can kinda cover all my bases. I don’t take them off when I’m not in a game, and that’s a new experience for me. Sound (gaming) - Yeah, they totally sound like the footsteps are coming from right behind you…or there is a rustle to the left. Really stinkin’ nice with filling in the atmosphere of a game. Always shocks me after going without a headset for a while just what a difference it makes. Mic - it’s better than most headset mics, but not as good as a well tuned lapel mic. I’m not entirely sure I would consider it much different than the Cloud, and it is only slightly better (to my ears) than the Creality. Long story short, you’ll be fine talking to friends, but get a real mic for recording. Comfort - Average. They do have enough give that they’re not clamping against my head. The headband is fine, the earcups are fine…Just nothing special, here. At least you won’t need to rest every hour or so…you can wear these for a nice long gaming session. I just have nothing really negative to say. These are a great headset for both gaming and music, and that alone kicks up the rating in my book. If you’re looking to upgrade from a much older headset, I don’t think you will be disappointed. These are pretty much the peak of headsets. ... show more

My first thing I want to say is this is a super comfortable headset. I haven’t worn it for an hours long gaming session but very comfortable whenever I’m wearing it. It sounds good, I’ve had better but not at this price range. Mic seems to sound pretty decent, mute button easy to find and easy to tell when you are muted. My only gripe it doesn’t really snap into the controller, the jack seems to disconnect kinda easy and the cord could be longer. Overall I’m happy with it and if you need a sub $100 headset you could do a lot worse than this. ... show more
