I've been wanting to write this review for awhile... So let's you and I break things down and learn together. Number 1: This is very good unit so far. It's a powehouse compared to others I've used. Keep in mind when you buy a "portable steam generator" they aren't generally made to last. From doing my research,.. on average, with daily use, you might get 6 months on average if you are lucky. So go in with that expectation when buying these things and prepare to replace as needed. Number 2: Like you,... most likely you are looking at wattage, how big a tank etc... like me you're looking for something that generates a lot of heat (or as much as possible) but don't break the bank right??? Well,... this is what a lot don't tell you. You can have the hottest unit/generator but if your output or steam flow is small, it doesn't matter! Case in point. Do you see the picture I posted with the tubes? ...you notice something? The one on the left is the tubing you would find in probably 90% of the generators out there. The tube on the right is this unit (almost double). Like hooking up a straw to a fire hydrant. Lots of heat capability, but if you can't move that heat, what's the point???? This unit has almost double the flow of those other ones and let me tell you, YOU-CAN-TELL. Numero 3: This has a big water tank, which is good for long sessions. With other ones I bought you'd have to fill it or it would shut off because it ran out of water just when things were just getting hot enough. Also, you'll notice I put a little cookie sheet below mine. Now I like that fact that it has an auto shut off and has all the safety features it claims which I nice since I don't want to burn alive in a sauna naked. That's now how I want to be remembered as my last moments. But reading from other units as an added safety precaution someone said that if it wasn't for thr cookie sheet, there house would have burned down. This units has no problems of course, but I like the extra reassurance (my gift to you.) Lastly, Number 4: Customer service was very good! I was looking for a replacement part and they sent it right away with no problem. Very responsive and a good to work with. Overall, a very good buy, and if and when the unit takes its last breath, I'll buy another one if this dealer still sells it and it maintains the same quality. If you are hesitant, don't it's a one of the best (if not thee best) out there for the price.

We bought this as a replacement because our old one went out, this one is sturdy and has a large reservoir. Works perfect and gets very hot!

This babe can cook. With 1500 watts it is a great alternative to the steamer that came with my portable sauna, a 1000 watt. It did the job just fine but the extra wattage feels like an extra luxury. Well worth the purchase. The only thing I would want are longer tubes; the short one doesn't allow centering of the steamer box on the sauna floor. Not tragic but if would be nice.

I’ve been using the peeko 4l sauna steamer for about a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I bought this because original that came with sauna quit working and this one arrived on time but without remote - it has a larger water capacity than original that came and has a higher heat and time frame - glad I bought it! I have not contacted seller to replace remote and missing remote is only reason I gave it a four star.
