I looked for 3 days online for a sun/rain shade for over our hottub. I didn't want to cover all of it, just enough to block the rain if I want to sit in the tub during a storm and play with my phone and cover up enough sun for my morning hot tub/coffee time. Wow is this perfect. I measured for 6" beyond the 12' length on each side. I ordered the turn buckles beforehand and they got here the day before. It took me 5 minutes to put up as you see in the pics when it arrived wirh my pre installed hardware I already had. We are in love with the partial covering of our tub now and now can weather the rain if we want our heads dry or if we choose, pop out into it snow/rain in the far corner. An economical covering. Classy looking and functional. We got the turquoise. Time will tell the reliability but it all looks amazing right now and the fabric, sewing and hardware all look tough. If I have to replace every 2 years I'll be happy considering the cost and great look. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

The sail went up easy enough. Hardware seems to be strong enough to handle the sun and wind. Was a little harder to clean when the pollen came through our area this summer. Tends to let water pool in the middle no matter how steeply I angle the fabric. Too much angle defeats the purpose of the product. A few months of use and its fading a bit.
