This little device is actually pretty amazing. It does a great job directing the heat and it also deflects it pretty well. It was relatively close to an outdoor curtain and the curtain was barely warm but the front side near the fire was nice and toasty. Definitely recommend this item.

We have a small patio and without this the heat would be distributed through a wrought iron fence and away from out seating area. Not the easiest thing to install but very effective when done.

It’s aluminum and light, therefore it doesn’t weigh down, slip, or fall from the patio heater hood. You don’t have to worry about the shield rusting except, the screws and nut that comes with it, which is easily replaceable. The reflector is effective in pushing heat down. It Makes it feel like the heater is producing more heat. Make sure the reflectors are fastened behind the gas knob, otherwise the plastic gas knob could melt or become brittle. The manual instruction could be improved.

No screws in attachment can't attach and won't let me return the item

3 star look with 5 star performance... Panels are thin and bend easily, mounting screws are a bit awkward of an angle so they don't mount straight... BUT I was shocked at how well it works! I can get it close to my pergola beams and not worry about it burning, even my siding...Works great.
