There isn't anything we can't decorate these days! We can even dress up some boring old plain white plastic trash cans! I love the wood look. It goes well with my country decor. This is also to alert those who are using the cans which one is for trash and which one is for recyclables. I think most of us are familair with what is recycable so may I never find a plastic bottle in the trash again! Don't make me put a whole list on there! lol. No more re-sorting trash and recycle material. My kitchen trash can holds trash and recylcing, but everyone gets confused and puts the wrong items on the wrong side. The only way to know what goes in each side of the container is the different color foot pedals. The problem is you have to step on the foot pedal to open the each lid which then makes it impossible to know what goes where. The Farmhouse Recycle and Trash Magnets are exactly what I was looking for. The signs are easy to read and even easier to install. The magnets are more than strong enough to stay in place. If you need to mount the signs on a non-metal surface, the sign kit includes small metal pieces with adhesive tape that would establish a good base to connect your signs to. Based on my personal experience and product review, I am giving the Farmhouse Recycle and Trash Magnets a 5-star rating and would recommend them. ... show more

These look great on my stainless steal 13 gallon trash bins. The size is big enough that people can't mistake what they say, and they colors dont clash with the metal look. Definitely recommend if you have stainless steal cans.

Nice looking magnets, and love that they come with small rectangular metal adhesive pieces in case your trash can isn't metal. I didn't need those so can't speak to how well they adhere, but the magnets themselves adhered fine to both my trash and recycle bins.

These are lovely vinyl-covered magnets that adhere well to my trash bins. An unexpected but welcome addition were two metal plates with an adhesive backing to allow the magnets to also be used on non-metal bins. I have two metal kitchen trash bins, one for trash and one for multi-stream recycling. In the past, it's been a challenge to get guests not to simply dump recyclables in with the trash. I literally go through my trash after guests leave to retrieve recyclable cans and bottles! These magnets should cure that issue and look good as well. ... show more
