This arrives in a very small box, so don't be alarmed. It's like a series of slats held together by small clamps. You will have to put it all together, and it takes some finesse. The material of the reflector is thin, and if you bend it, it's not going to work as well. But despite its somewhat underwhelming appearance, this thing WORKS. It absolutely reflects heat. More so, you can almost touch the backside of it while your heater is running. I opted to flip my reflector, as the bead was on the top of my heater's "hat," and it gripped better. You can fit this however it works for your heater. My one criticism is that the clamps are a bit big. You also can't fold it flat if you remove it from the heater. This thing does its job. We have a covered patio that we sit in, and due to the ceiling height, we have to actually back it out from under the roof. Hence, the heater is a bit farther from where we sit. This reflector ensures that we actually feel the heat without scorching the ceiling. We've also had some pretty good winds and it hasn't had any issues. This is a simple, utilitarian thing, but it works.

This patio heater reflector does what it claims to do as far as helping to direct heat, but it is thin/lightweight. The reflector is easy to install, however, when the wind is blowing it does cause it to rattle since it is lightweight. It's not real loud but could get on your nerves is it is otherwise quite out. Not sure if that is the case with all of them or just the one I received so thought it was worth mentioning and the reason a star was removed. I would still recommend this if you are looking for a reflector for a round heater even if they all make a little rattle; it's worth the benefit of directed heat.

Item is stainless steel. Hardware is stainless steel. It is very simple to install and works as designed to direct the heat in a certain direction. Works very well

We ordered a tower heater and it just doesn't throw as much heat as we wanted. I saw this and knew we needed to try it!! Its super easy to attach in theory. Its just a few screws and nuts but it does take a bit of finagling to get it right while its hanging. Probably best too be a two person job for the sole reason of having someone hold it while you screw it all in. Our heater has a square top and its not a perfect fit, but it works. It has a few gaps at the corners where I imagine a small amount of heat escapes. But otherwise, it does help with keeping the heat on the one side we stand on. It makes enough of a difference where I think its worth it. BUT, I do think it sort of ruins the aesthetic of the heater. It looked way cooler without it. But, function over fashion I suppose. Overall, this would be better on a round top, but definitely works!
