I’ll begin by saying that it is 93 degrees today here in Southern WI, so I really can’t comment on how it works as a heater, but did want to get this review started. ;-) The unit seems very well made. The power cord is what I would expect for a heating appliance like this – very thick and well insulated. I wanted to test the two safety features: Tip over switch – worked fine. As I slowly started to tip it over it shut off when I reached about the half way point. This is an important safety feature – you don’t want this tipped over and still be on and heating! Overheat Protection – With the hot weather that we are having, I was able to test this. After operating for about 15 minutes in 80 degree weather, it shut off. This is a nice safety feature. The handle and the cabinet were quite warm right after it shut off. Not hot enough to start a fire, but hot enough that you would want it to shut off. I don't think it will overheat when I'm using this on the patio when it's 60 degrees. When either one of the safety features is activated – the unit is shut off. It does not come back on until you turn it on again. For example, if it got bumped and tipped over – it will shut off. Once you set it back up, you need to turn it on again. Just standing it back up Does Not allow it to turn back on. This is just how an electrical device should work – you want to understand what happened, make any corrections so that it doesn’t happen again, and then turn it back on. The power switch is on the bottom of the unit. At first I was puzzled by that, but I think it is a child-proof thing, a way of keeping the switch from overheating, and a way to keep your fingers away from the heat. The switch is not visible – you have to reach under the unit and flip it by feel. And having it under there keeps it cool for when you want to shut the unit off. There is a little graphic on the base showing that the switch is down there. I've shown a picture of the unit - it is attractive and has a quality look to it. I like the glass panels with the chrome edge. Then another pic of the unit turned on. Also very attractive! Those glowing elements say "warmth" to me!! And it comes with an actual owners manual! Nicely done and helpful. So, I'll leave it here for now. As soon as we get some temps in the 60's in early evening, I'll be testing this and hopefully enjoying the heat!! I'll update this review at that time.

Thus heater is well constructed and the handle provides easy portability. The main draw back of this item is the lack of any type of thermostat, you simply have a on off button. For use on an outdoor patio or other open space this is not an issue but in an area that lacks ventilation this can quickly become an issue as it will continue to heat and not turn off.

Great for indoor and outdoor use. There is a delay when turning it on. Kind of like a priming period. Its does not have temperature controls or remote. It's either on or off. I was not thrilled with the location of the power button. It's on the underside of the unit, with an indicator symbol on the top of the base. That just doesn't seem like a very safe place to put the controls. And we definitely needed the instruction for this. Otherwise, this unit is a really nice quality. This heats on both, the front and the back sides of the unit, so its great to place in the center of the patio or center of the room. Do not place the unit too close to anything. That's just not safe practice. Will fit great for under tables, as the product name implies. The majority of the heat comes from the outside edges of the glass panel covers. And the design allows you to remove the glass panels for more heat production. So, even though this particular unit doesn't have temperature controls, there is a way to get more heat. The glass does get hot, when in use. So obviously, don't touch the glass while it's in use. The design is made to be water proof and dust proof. The unit will shut off automatically if overheated or knocked over, Overall, it is a nice quality, good design and very reasonable priced infrared heater.

This is a very nice looking slender heater to place beside or under a table ( measures 26 1/2” tall) , or chairside (can work in-between two chairs as it is double-sided). It has a footprint of 7" X 12" at the base". It looks pleasing with removable smoky glass panels on each side, protecting the heating elements. With no moving parts this heater is silent. Since it is infrared heat, it will heat those in close proximity more so than heating the room air (thus no thermostat as it would be pointless). It has a tip-over auto shuttoff for safety. I am pleased with this electrict infrared heater.

The perfect table side electric heater for you patio. Measures 26 1/2” tall and the base is approximately 7”x12”. Generates 1200W of heat almost instantly with no excessive lighting and looks really good doing it. Perfect for those crisp winter mornings or back porch dining on a cool evening. Heating elements are covered by tempered smoky glass on both sides and the glass is removable for cleaning or heating w/o the glass covers. Overall an excellent product. One note, when registering for the three year warranty, the unique product ID is on the registration card covered with a scratchable surface. It wasn’t obvious to me and the product ID is only on the card, not the device.

The color matching is very high-end, very beautiful, very textured, and the heating effect is OK. The room is about 300 feet, and it is quite warm after opening for ten minutes. The mute is real, and there is no sound at all. There is a tilting automatic closing protection function. very good.
