I recently turned an old unused barn into a cat house surrounded by a catio for 6 community cats. I bought this heater and had an electrician install it. When it comes on and stays on it works great but It keeps shutting itself off and will rarely come back on even after I unplug it from the outlet. I probably got one or two full nights of heat from it and I've had it a month. I have not tried to run it 24/7, just from 5 pm to 7 am. ... show more

I’m not quite sure how to explain what I am experiencing but the heater is not responding well with the heater remote. I’m having trouble getting the remote to turn on the heater and adjust the high and or the low temperature for the heater.
