I would buy the item again - 2nd one - As soon as you get it, open box check if long glass tub is not broken ( by shipping ) - mine was, the company emailed replaced in a week.. the way all combines should be ! only con's to list to the product team: 1) Make sure base of all 4 legs line up better for stable setup - yes it could be unlived concrete or floor but should adjust/put something since it is very tall and helps keep tower stable ... my base is little unstable but can add rubber feet to put on my concrete - you may not have same problem. 2) I would change the magnetic door entry for replacing the propane to swing door. Less parts and no chain. - Overall this is great product tested and used for months now ... stainless steel is way to go for 10 / 15 bucks more.

This is my second pyramid heater. The first was purchased a couple of years ago and I wanted a second one for another deck. I love the ambiance of these. It's like having a campfire on your deck. They do put off some heat but if you're not in an enclosed area then any breeze will eliminate the heat. These are not radiant heaters but they are great for making firelight on a deck or other area. That said, the new pyramid arrived. It was packaged extremely well. The directions were clear. the parts well protected. Assembly was easy. The materials also appear to be well made and fit was good. No complaints EXCEPT that the burner / valve has an issue. The pilot won't light so it is pretty much unusable. I would like to get a replacement part but the only support listed in the manual is an email address. I've tried to contact them but no response. It seems that if it doesn't work you don't have any options for parts. I'm not sure what to do with it now. I don't think I can return it assembled :) edit 11/7 - after about a week I received an email response offering a full refund or free replacement. It took a few days but they are offering to completely take care of the issue. I will try for the replacement since the overall quality appears quite good. I just got unlucky.

This is a terrible product. It was overly burdensome to assemble but was ultimately achievable. The problem is the unit will not stay lit. The ignition mechanism is designed poorly and requires you to hold a pilot knob lit for nearly a full minute. One the primary heating flame is ignited mine snuffs out every time I close the access door. I was using it for the first time of the season and it was on for five minutes (with the access panel open) and then the flame blew out. I haven't been able to re-ignite it since. The product seems like it is of decent quality but my unit is completely non-functioning. Edit: customer service reached out and provided me with a brand new unit at no cost.

We decided to buy a patio heater to extend the time we could use our deck as fall and winter approaches here in the Boston area. With the COVID stay-at-home, being able to get outside is imperative to help stave off cabin fever. Our neighbor had one delivered and they were out of town so I lugged the bulky box into their house and took note of the brand. The heater had good reviews on Amazon so I bought one. What makes this type of heater so dramatic is that the flame is contained inside a glass tube that runs vertically in the center of the heater. Unfortunately, when ours was delivered and I opened the box, the glass tube was shattered on one end. The instruction manual provided a Hotmail email address and no phone number so I wasn't wildly optimistic that I would be able to resolve this quickly. But to my surprise, I got an email from Pamapic the next day apologizing and that they'd ship me a new tube. To my delight, the tube arrived in less than a week, fully intact. Now, that's excellent customer service! So I set about assembling the heater which was pretty straight-forward although you do have to read the manual (and this from someone who rarely does). It took about an hour by myself (some reviews have said you need 2 people but I had no problems doing it alone) and then I got a new propane tank and fired it up. It's almost as though there's an open fire on the deck - very impressive, warm and inviting. I can't tell yet how much heat it actually puts out but it definitely helps sets the ambiance... So far, I'm happy with this heater and very appreciative of the super responsive customer service. I actually bumped up my rating to 5 stars because I was so impressed with the service.

I have been looking for a pyramid style patio heater for some time, and decided to buy this one as it was at a great price ($199 + $19.99 shipping). Overall I am disappointed. It's difficult to assemble, especially on your own, and the instructions leave a great deal to be desired, the pictures are often not clear, small and make the assembly challenging. The finishing and quality control is not great either, many of the screws don't line up, some of the tower assembly when fitted correctly don't line up either. Biggest complaint is the front panel which is supposed to lift forward but stay on, which is doesn't. The instructions for that are a joke. The sheet steel panels are all coated in a plastic to protect them in transit, this is very difficult to remove. More than 25 parts fit together, and over 75 pieces of hardware, make this a challenge for even a handy person. It does throw out the heat, looks nice on the patio, and is easy to move, even with a propane tank installed. There is a cover included, which is flimsy but OK, unlikely to stand up to much weather. Overall I rated it 3 stars, It could have been so much better with a little thought.
