Description

Powder coated galvanized steel support brackets will stand up to the elements and not rust or rot over time. A hidden gasket in the back directs rain to the sides ensuring a watertight seal. The upscale design and high end materials make the Nancy awning both decorative and highly practical. I've been eyeing this door awning for about a year. There aren't many "pre-fab" door awnings available on the market and I wasn't feeling up to building a proper one so I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I'm not thrilled with the product but will leave it up for the time being. I'll reevaluate next summer if it makes it through the PNW fall and winter. I think it's a 2.5 star product and am torn between giving it a 2 or a 3 star rating. I'm defaulting to 3 stars as I've opted to keep it installed for the time being. I'll likely reinforce it with a bit of cable secured from the upper corners of the awning to the framework of my house. I would not recommend this awning to a friend, but it might meet your needs depending on what they are. Pros: easy to assemble, easy to install, relatively attractive compared to other available options, affordable though it's probably over priced for what it is. Cons: came missing parts, some parts were bent, the powder coating came scratched up and is easily scratched, the plexiglass came pretty scratched up, water pools at the end due to the weather stripping (I angled to slightly using washers), durability and longevity is questionable. ... show more

We remodeled our house and lost the porch. The overhang is too narrow so we had to get an awning. This is perfect. It blends in with the house instead of being an eye sore. It’s also fun to stand under it and watch the rain.

First of wrong size of plastic/glass, too big to fit in correctly. Second of two of the same hanging brackets, they were supposed to be opposite.

Received first one.... broken. Ordered a replacement.... missing parts and damaged. I give up. Not worth the money and especially not worth the hassle of 2 defective orders. Will never order from this company again. JUNK

Assembly is simple. This can be installed when you have limited clearance above the door or window, unlike many competing products. Also, its design allows the installer to reach over the unit for 4 of the bolts. If you have a ratcheting wrench with an extension it is easy enough even if you have very little clearance above the unit. We had the minimum clearance. With more clearance an extension wouldn’t be necessary. The printed instructions were clear and included a link to a helpful video. ... show more
