I got this for a replacement for an old system. Works great, hasn't lost suction yet. Had to get new fittings the attachments for the older system were a different size. Easy to install other than I didn't get the flex hose and had to wait for it to come in. Wish I had known I would need it before.

I am amazed by the other reviews. The unit I got has half the suction of my old Nutone vacuum. It is easy to install and was shipped right away. It is very quiet, but I believe that’s because it lacks power. I had to order 2 units, the first one had the motor installed backwards. It blew instead of sucked. The factory said to return it. This unit SUCKS, but it is a vacuum, it is SUPPOSED to suck.... We were trying to decide between this and the 640 model, when this came up on Amazon Warehouse deals. It was listed as "Acceptable" and stated that it would work but could have dents on the outside. oh well, so long as it works... Only issues I could see on the outside was some minor scuffs in the paint. I had some issues with it from the beginning, but OVO sent me out a replacement circuit board, and all was good. For a 740 square foot house (with full basement), this is BRUTAL OVERKILL. The unit itself is surprisingly quiet, but my hoses make a decent amount of noise due to the airflow. I was sweeping the floor and came across a plastic grocery bag. With my old setup, this would have been sucked into the hose, and it would have clogged the system. This time, I heard a loud BANG, and the bag was gone. The vacuum didn't seem to even notice. If you have a small house, go with a smaller model, but otherwise, this is great! ... show more

I bought and received the 700 Air Watts/25 size. I am using the optional disposable bag. This unit is replacing the original 47 year old central vacuum canister, the original one consumed more current and had so much less power, louder compared to the new unit, size too is a 1/3 less in height. Did a lot of research on using a central vacuum as a garage\ auto detailing vacuum and finally landed on this OVO unit. There are other units with higher specs, but to be honest, I can't imagine you would want or need anything more powerful than this for this type of application. I've got this mounted to the wall with hardlines that lead to a Cox Hose reel and 50ft of vacuum hose line. Even though all of that inefficient plumbing, this thing sucks harder than any ShopVac you've ever hard. The soft start and delay shut-off are great features. I added the muffler for good measure.
