Five months in I am happy with this product. My original unit finally died (35 years old I would assume) and my decision was between replacing with the same brand, (much more expensive), or this OVO unit which was much more of a bargin. I spent a good deal of time doing research, my quality concerns being with a less expensive unit and finally decided to get this. So far everything works great, much better suction that the original home unit that was installed and much quieter. Providing 1 longer hose connection instead of 2 smaller lengths would be my only suggestion for improvement but I had no problems installing and setting it up. Since this was hanging in my basement, I had to buy a concrete drill bit to install the hanger otherwise pretty straight forward installation. I would definitely recommend this unit. ... show more

Came well protected in a box. Installation was simple and self explanatory, though the instructions are decent to walk someone through it. I recommend getting flexible pipe elbows and fitting to make installation easier. So far no issues, great suction, great value.

Purchased this as a replacement for our 20yo unit. Hesitant due to the name (never heard of it). I must say this unit is awesome - runs everything, including the turbo power head, much better than the old unit ever did. It’s quiet and powerful for about 1/2 the price of competitive name brands. Good suction after two weeks trying to get parts to connect one wall plug. I think I had to order from three different places to finally get what I needed. Appears to be working well now. We will see how long it lasts. I was worried about if the quality compared to Nutone, since I wasn't familiar with the brand. Seems like a quality build. An upgrade from my old unit. Suction is noticeably better. Easy replacement of the other unit, using their hose 2-pack, which I'd recommend highly - without that, it would have been harder. ... show more

    • Bigger isn't always better, but I still cannot complain
This unit SUCKS, but it is a vacuum, it is SUPPOSED to suck.... We were trying to decide between this and the 640 model, when this came up on Amazon Warehouse deals. It was listed as "Acceptable" and stated that it would work but could have dents on the outside. oh well, so long as it works... Only issues I could see on the outside was some minor scuffs in the paint. I had some issues with it from the beginning, but OVO sent me out a replacement circuit board, and all was good. For a 740 square foot house (with full basement), this is BRUTAL OVERKILL. The unit itself is surprisingly quiet, but my hoses make a decent amount of noise due to the airflow. I was sweeping the floor and came across a plastic grocery bag. With my old setup, this would have been sucked into the hose, and it would have clogged the system. This time, I heard a loud BANG, and the bag was gone. The vacuum didn't seem to even notice. If you have a small house, go with a smaller model, but otherwise, this is great! ... show more

We used the unit 1 time for less than 10 mins before it started smoking! The motor has flames. Called customer support multiple times and could only leave messages, finally emailed them. They asked for pictures of the motor. Claimed dust bag was not installed properly and would not honor warranty. The problem is actually it is missing a seal at the top (manufacturer defect) - but they still refused to fix anything. The dust bag has always been on tight and the vacuum was literally only used less than 10 mins 1 time!!!! But- suction was great for about 10 mins that one time!! If you get a good one I think you’ll be fine, if you get one with a defect they will definitely fine a way not to replace it! They do not stand behind their product at all. ... show more
