I bought these in hopes they would be better then the cheaper ones I had. They work great. They came gapped pretty close, but I zero gapped them myself. The cost is awesome, and they work perfectly. I'm a self employed cosmetologist who specializes in mens grooming, 90% of my clientele are first responders and military. These trimmers are great, they are my go to soft trimmers. Great battery life, and they are quiet. I've used them 5 days a week 12-15 cuts and beard trims a day and I've never had any issue. Only con is that hair gets in the crack where the body is screwed together but with the proper regular cleaning it comes out, but if you don't clean them as needed you would notice it more. ... show more

Read lots of reviews on this trimmer and watched videos of it being used and I had to try it. -Cut with it last night and it didn’t disappoint. 🙌🏽 Lines were super clean, trimmer is light af and I’ve never used anything that cuts so smooth and fast. These work corded AND cordless, comes with charging stand and attachments. Delivery was literally next day for me. I’ve been using wahl 5-star legend, designer and peanut before buying TPOB. There’s nothing wrong with my previous clippers, but TPOB reviews and prices made me want to try it out and I’m glad I did! Can’t wait to try out the clippers and foil shaver next. ... show more

Pretty good trimmers for pricing! Leaves crisp lines, and does it's job. Super lightweight which I love - makes me feel like I'm holding nothing. Only cons I have is that battery life only lasts me 3-4 haircuts before I have to put it on a charger again (1h 30 min-2h), but it charges quickly so it's not too much of an inconvenience. Also the blade cover (plastic piece) randomly popped off of my trimmers within 1-2 mo of use, which sucks :p Besides those 2 cons I love them ... show more

I bought this because I wasn’t keen on spending $100 plus on a pair of high end trimmers for my first trimmer. I did some digging and this trimmer had great reviews and I like the name. I bought them they got delivered, and I can say I am pretty happy with them. The feel of the trimmers in my hand feels really good and the build quality seems to feel more luxurious than what I paid for them. Overall the trimmers seem to be pretty well made and have nice sharp blades. I really wanted to give more than 3 stars but the description was very misleading and said that it would include a charging base. This was one of the main reasons why I bought them. I was tired of having my last pair of trimmers find their way in the back of a drawer or fall off the bathroom vanity. So I am a female with PCOS. Keep that in mind when reading this review because in some sense it matters. My hair growth isn't QUITE as thick or coarse as a typical middle aged man's but it's close in some places. Particularly along the mlthe crease where my chin is. My hair is red... coppery red. I don't get a 5 o'clock shadow... my hair doesn't grow that fast and I use a growth inhibitor as well. All that info is important to understanding why I gave a 4 star review. What I was looking for is a trimmer that would cut the hair extremely low without actually shaving it in all places. Some places like the creases around my mouth and chin needed a better trim... maybe a shave... but I didn't want to use a razor because it causes massive ingrown hairs. My skin on my face is a bit sensitive to shaving and I have psoriasis that is problematic at the site of the thickest parts of the hair growth on my face as well so that makes it a bit more complicated. So as a trimmer using the 1mm guard it was perfect to setting my thinner finer patches to look like a normal person's facial hair growth. Exactly what I was looking for. No pulling, quick and easy, NICE blade... east to use, very quiet. Nice grip. The design is super compact which is a huge plus. I don't feel like I'm going to war when I break it out. With NO guard I expected it to get rid of all the hair in that section.... it didn't do that, but did get close enough where it looked like it did if you weren't intently staring at that section which is fine with me. I think had it been like an actual shave and removed it completely down to the skin I would have gotten in grown hairs like with a razor and that's what I was trying to avoid. It maybe is a tad bit longer there than I want and that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. For the price this was the best trimmer ove tried yet. I've gone through 4 different shavers and trimmers from wet/dry to simple beard and bikini line trimmers. By far this beat them all. What normally takes me like 3 to 5 minutes to get under control to the point it's acceptable took like... 2? I'm rather impressed. My one real concern is the blade... they don't seem to be readily available on amazon... they are from the website and I might have to purchase several at a time... they don't have free shipping... but it would just be better to be able to get the on brand blades on Amazon for my own piece of mind. Anyways... I can't give a male perspective, I don't know how ya'll trim or what that's supposed to be like... dont know how it would do fine lines or designs because thats not what i was after... but for my purposes this thing was great.
