I am able to control everything with my phone which is very convenient I don’t need to get up and press buttons. There is also a on/off and mode button on the cord for the lights but I can still do that on my phone. It’s nice to have the option of either. I can dim these lights, schedule times for them as well as do a timer. My favorite feature of these lights is that they are wind, water and snow proof. That way I don’t need to worry about taking them down and I can leave them up year round. These lights are also shatterproof and very durable, even the string they’re on is super durable. I love how each individual light has a clip on it so that I could hang these up on the edge of my porch or just hang them by the string. These lights are absolutely beautiful and have so many amazing features. I’m so happy with these lights and I know my guest love them too. These can also be dimmed which I found to be a really cool feature. They have a beautiful golden glow to them, and cast a really soft, nice light. They are plastic bulbs, so they are easy to store and there is no risk if them shattering while hanging. They come with a remote, as well as the ability to be run via phone app there is also a box located on the cord that can be mounted, with an on/off switch and a mode button to change the function of the lights manually. ... show more

These string lights can be operated via remote control and can be dimmed and brightened as you see fit. You can also pair the lights with an app and access far more features. The good thing about these lights is that they can remain up all year around as they are designed to withstand all weather conditions. The cords do feel like outside cords in durability so I will leave them up and see how well they do in the coming months but I expect that they will be fine. The overall set up and go went along rather easy and the instructions provided were very comprehensive and easy to follow. The media could not be loaded. The string lights are unique. I’ve never seen any lights with the Crystal bulb in the middle. It adds a lot of interest both when they are lit and even when they are not. When they are lit the crystal bulb inside really looks beautiful. The color is extremely warm. It actually borders on being an amber color. It looks great with my flame solar lights. The app is great. Once I opened up the app with the QR code, I discovered they were so many features. These are pretty much idiot proof. I can set a timer when I want these on and off. I can also adjust the brightness and choose one of the three modes to use. I personally love the breathing mode that feeds in from bright to dim. These were a super easy to install. They are extremely lightweight since they are plastic. And the cord is not heavy at all. There is the option to get a second set. You can daisychain them together very easily by removing the power supply to the second set. They simply connect together and are protected with a waterproof cover. They also have a small hole in the plastic bulb. This is fantastic because they don’t build up condensation. So they will always look crystal clear no matter the humidity outside. There’s three ways to operate these lights. You can control with the manual on off and mode button on the actual strand of lights itself. You can also use the remote control that accompanies it. These lights have a great glow to them, and can be controlled via remote, app, or control box, which also has the on off switch, a mode button, and a place to help attach it so it's secure and easy to use. I LOVE that these are dimmable, and the remote has preset percentages, as well as up down buttons that let you adjust them freely. The app can also be used, but I've not used it enough yet to be super familiar with it yet. The way the brightness can be adjusted with these really adds to the mood and ambiance of where they are strung. I'd not seem lights like this that are dimmable like this before purchasing these.. It has dimmable option which really sets the environment, 3 modes that can do a strobe, grading, and statistic and 5 flashing speeds as well. I can also use an app on my phone to control that lighting as well. It also has a timer to shut the lights off to keep them from being on for hours even though it was 25,000 hour lifespan. I got this to hang on my pergola. It was pretty easy to install. I actually used a staple gun to install mine and it only took about 10 minutes. Be sure to try out the light before hanging though since you’ll want to make sure all the bulbs work. All of mine were in great condition. The remote controls the dimming level and you can set the timer for them. There’s also mode that cycles through the lights automatically. My favorite is Mode 1 so I just leave mine on that mode. The bulbs seems durable since I dropped mine on my hardwood floor. No damages and works great! ... show more
