  • Ideal for pets
Style: Outdoor Run with Mesh Cover Size: Large
I bought this for my tortoise because he likes to wander. It's big, does not have a shade but I just placed something on top of the run. The only complaint i had, was the screws for the clips ( and only the clips the resr are good) are very poor quality and the heads are damaged easily and they are not magnetic which makes it harder to use a drill. Other wise it's easy to put together and works very well. Theres no floor piece so if your pet likes to dig you may need a different model. ... show more

  • Not a great product.
Style: Outdoor Run with Mesh Cover Size: Medium
The top that comes with it doesn’t fit on it properly, one bump and it falls into the enclosure. I had to zip tie the crap out of it to make it stay. The door with the hearts makes no sense, since the other one is right next to it, and is held on by the hearts that have the screws in the back of them. They have to be over tightened to stay put and you can hear the wood crack when you do. Those are also the only holes that come pre drilled, the run comes with screws to put in but you have to pre drill all the holes or risk cracking the wood. Not happy with my purchase at all. ... show more

  • Good duck run for ~$100
Style: Outdoor Run with Mesh Cover Size: Medium
Overall, I'm very impressed with this, and I very rarely post reviews. The listing really didn't do it justice. I intend to use this to transition box-raised ducklings to my pond without feeding the local predators. Construction is solid, given that it is designed to be lightweight, and there are some small details that the might have done without but didn't. For example, the hinges on the sides are inletted so they can fold flat, and all the joints are screwed together (the wire mesh is also screwed in place). The run has three accesses. One is a removable door -the one in the photo with the cute lil' hearts- the second is a swinging wire mesh door with a bolt latch and the third is the removable top. The 'heart' hardware on the side door won't stop a determined escape attempt and I will be replacing them with steel parts- they're kinda crappy anyway, the only sub-par component in the run. The bolt latch on the mesh door will need a snap link, carabiner etc. to be secure, but that's no biggie. The wood is stained but not sealed, so is safe (-ish) for rabbits, guinea pigs etc.; I'll be sealing it with polyurethane, deck seal etc. because I want it to be weatherproof and chewing isn't an issue with ducks. The top can be installed with the hinges up so you can open either side (as designed) or hinges down so it folds as it opens. Where you install the top catch hardware is dependent on this. Incidentally, said hardware is mild steel with a glossy black finish. It's not spring steel, so it will bend easily and won't spring back. Overall, I think it fits the bill (so to speak...duck joke). I wanted a movable duck run for temporary use during the spring season that I could stow away and re-use year after year. For a hunnert dollars I'm happy. Craig ... show more

  • Run modified into a giant bunny cage!!!
Style: Outdoor Run with Mesh Cover Size: Medium
I love this bunny run. My husband and I have two little holland lop bunnies and when we first got them we got a small cage for them since they were babies. As they got a little older they outgrew the little cage. Since we keep them inside because they are part of the family we wanted to get them a house that was bigger for both of them and so they had enough room to walk and move. They are currently 5months old and are still growing according to the breeder. We decided to buy this bunny run and make it into a big cage. I also built a little divider panel as an addition to the cage to separate them since they are not fixed and are currently going after each other. We build a pallet type bottom with two big openings and put a green metal fencing similar to the one they use for bunny cages on top and sealed it with staples and screws to allow the dropping to fall through. We build them two big metal trays out of galvanized metal for the bottom to catch all of the dropping and hay. I have attached pictures for you to see. We are very happy with this product. The wood is not real wood is kinda cheap like plywood but it gets the job done. Hope this review helps. We really customized the hell out of this run to be a cage. We even added little wheels to be able to pull for easier cleaning. ... show more

  • Works okay, but needs enhancing.
Style: Outdoor Run with Mesh Cover Size: Medium
For over a hundred dollars, I was expecting something a little more solid. It's very lightweight and can easily be breached by a running dog or just by dropping something on it. I like the way it collapses, but the heart shaped "latch" broke off right away when I collapsed it to put it away. I really don't understand the usefulness of the removeable section which is held in by the heart shape latches. There's a wire door on the side and the top also folds open so what's the purpose of the side door that comes off. You have to remove it every time you collapse the sides. This makes no sense to me. At least they could have designed the heart shaped latches to be able to be turned so they're not in the way when you collapse the side, but you have to totally remove them. There's a tiny washer that goes with the latch and that's sure to get lost with all the moving around of parts. The top doors also have a latch that you're supposed to screw on, but it serves no purpose. It doesn't connect to anything or hold the doors secure. The directions that came with were three little sentences and some pictures. To be fair, it makes a nice outdoor pen for one or two rabbits as long as there's somebody supervising. My plan is to buy some hardware to permanently attach the removeable door and to buy some slide latches or locks to secure the top doors. I'll also get some stakes to stake it down so a stray dog can't charge the rabbit successfully. Again, for the price it seems flimsy, like it won't last more than a few months to a year if you're going to take it out and in everyday to give your rabbit some stimulation. ... show more
