I just received this $1,500 wide infrared radiant heater from Landeagle. The product was easy to assemble the base comes detached and you only need to put two washers and two screws and to connect the base to the tower which took approximately 2 minutes. This unit does come with a optional anti-coverage bracket that you can attach as well and the hardware is included to attach the anti-coverage bracket should you wish to attach it. This is an essential safety feature if you plan to have your tower heater indoor or outdoor around any type of curtains or materials that can move around or blow with a breeze or the wind, as the anti-coverage bracket well keep any items from attaching to the side or back of the heater which could easily cause a fire otherwise. This unit also comes with safety tip over protection and overheat protection which is a safety plus. As for the controlling the heater there is a control head on the heater itself as well as a remote control that is included. The included remote control is basic as is the main control unit with four features, 1. on/off button 2. P1 for low power 3. P2 for high power 4. Timer Miss unit operates silently and comes with a three-prong plug which is great as it has a inbuilt ground. This unit can be used outdoors or indoors and as I first used it indoors I noticed no smell from the heater on the first run. Overall this seems to be good quality and projects good heat and I can recommend this unit. The big cons that I see with this unit is that there is no built-in thermostat and the unit does not rotate or swivel however overall it is a good quality unit with a very heavy strong base for safety and I feel it is a good fair price for what you're getting. I will update over time should any issues arise. 5 of 5 overall.

The Landeagle Outdoor Infrared Electric Heater delivers heat in 2 modes, (low 750W and high 1500W). It is solidly built and relatively heavy so as not to tip over in inclement weather. It heats relatively quickly once turned on and delivers the heat radiantly without the use of a blower or fan. The description mentions "80 degrees oscillating" but there is no oscillating with this heater. The back top of the heater has a small "cutout" to place your fingers in when moving which I found relatively small and shallow. The heater also comes with an optional metal "spacer" that will prevent fabric, curtains, etc. from actually touching the heater's surface which can get hot. The remote control is a bonus with the ability to turn the heater on/off, choosing low or high, and setting the timer while away from the heater. The material and housing appear of high quality.This is definitely not the cheapest heater you can find....but you do get a quality product that is built to last. Recommended

This patio heater is about the same size as my tower fan I use in the summer. It was easy to assemble, and when you turn it on you begin to get heat in seconds. You can adjust between a high and a low setting, and you have full function whether with the remote or the buttons on the unit, which is nice in case you misplace the remote. The unit is completely quiet when operating. You can really feel the heat coming off of it, making it great for fall evenings to keep comfortable when we don't want to go inside.

I couldn't be happier with this heater! It seems to be much better build quality than any of the half dozen infrared heaters I've owned over the years. The reflector behind the heating element does an excellent job of dispersing the heat in a wide angle which makes it great for keeping both my wife and I warm in our office. I chose not to install the safety bar on the top as it was fairly flimsy and looked quite odd when installed. The remote is very handy to have and works as expected. Highly recommended!

Love infrared tower heaters. Much better than most or all other styles. Heats fast, huge surface area covering most of your body. Super heavy duty base plate, better than most. My only gripe is that I don't like the spacer arm. It sticks out too far and is in the way. Others like this have much smaller arms, or material that juts out from the top, to accomplish the same task. And the handle could be a little deeper. Other than those little gripes, it's still a 5 star experience.
