As long as possible, I love to be outdoors - even when temperatures drop down. Sitting on the back deck is great, but the temps can become unbearable at times, so I wanted to find some sort of portable outdoors heater. After doing some research on the qualities to look for when shopping for a portable heater, I found this outdoor heater made by the REALSMART Store. Based on the product details and visuals, I thought this might be a good choice. I ordered this and now that I've gotten this home and had ample time to try this out- I must attest that this is quite an incredible little apparatus.     • It works...
Build is what you would expect from a typical "import". Received it yesterday ans just tested. On low it draws about 8 amps on High it draws 11.65 amps at 118v. The one major killer for me is that it's got "fancy electronics" meaning a remote control and will not return to its previous state when power is removed. This was intended for an outdoor kennel when things got to be a bit colder than usual here in the south and home automation. I have a outdoor thermometer that kicks fans in at 78 degrees and out at 72 degrees. The same principal was foe this heater but when switched off it will not return to its previous state when turned back on. 😒. You must use the remote or manually turn it back on when power is applied. ... show more

    • Great patio heater!
I recently added the Airvention electric patio heater to my back porch, and so far, it's been a great addition. Instead of wall mounting it, I used the provided stand, and everything worked perfectly without any issues. Given how smoothly that went, I imagine the other mounting options (wall or ceiling) would be just as easy to install. In terms of performance, the heater works well for my decently sized back porch. It provides a comfortable warmth without being overbearing. The heat spreads out evenly and keeps the space noticeably warmer, which is perfect for cooler evenings. The build quality is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-suited for outdoor use. While I wouldn’t leave it exposed in the middle of a rainstorm, it’s designed to handle typical outdoor conditions, and I feel confident leaving it in a covered corner of my porch. That said, I’d still recommend getting a cover for it if you plan to leave it completely exposed. I haven't tested the safety features like the overheating protection, but as long as you're using it responsibly, it seems to operate smoothly. The waterproof claim is nice, but I wouldn't purposely test it—better safe than sorry! Overall, I’m very pleased with this heater. It works just as expected, and I’m looking forward to using it more as the colder months approach.     • Heats nice, stable stand
Heats well, has a very stable stand. Cord is a bit short. Cannot tilt the unit forward to aim it bc that activates the tilt sensor, and the stand doesn't go very short - I didn't measure but I'd say definitely not shorter than 4ft maybe a bit more so keep that in mind. Assembly is not difficult, but if you want it on the stand, there is no mark for the center of the mounting on the back of the heater, so you will have to measure. Also no wrench is provided. These are just informational notes - so you won't be surprised. Nothing against it - it seems very solid and stable and generates good heat. The mounting track on the back allows you to arrange the mounting hardware in different spots for wall mounting, which is thoughtful. ... show more

    • Nice little outdoor heater!
I was super skeptical as to how well this would work to heat up our little fenced in porch space. Our Littles love playing out there and it gets a little bit chillier lately in the mornings. This works great for heating up the space I need it to. Everything came very well packed and secured. There was no damage to it whatsoever and everything was very easy to set up and literally took a couple minutes. The instruction manual was easy to read so we figured out how to use this in no time. Once you turn it on it actually gets super hot and easily heats up the space that they say. So far it has been 100% true to the ad and the quality of everything is really great! This is a great bang for your buck and we 100% recommend it! Got to give this a 10 out of 10 ... show more
