I built a large patio that has a firepit that does not always throw out enough heat for everyone especially by the table. This helps fill in the gap. The instructions for use are not accurate and it took a lot of guesswork to put it together. For example the instructions show 2 right angle brackets to hold the heater to the stand and also showed how to attach it to a wall. Nothing like what came with the unit (one right angle bracket and another angled bracket). I guessed to attach the right angle one to the post and attached the angled one to that and the heater. It works but the heater sticks out a few inches from the post changing the center of gravity. With the legs out as far as they go, it still seems stable. There were 3 sandbags included that will help. Given the amount of wind we get, my inclination will be to take it down when not in use. There was also a sticker on the heater face that said the on-off switch was underneath. I took it off and nothing is underneath. It is interesting that it comes with 2 remotes which work well. I guess there will be a spare. It is a nice unit that puts out 3 levels of heat once I figured out how to assemble. ... show more

This vertical outdoor heater is awesome. Comfortable and warm. Wonderful. This high quality heater is 1500W, electric, and infrared heat. Heats up in seconds. Waterproof. Our favorite feature is the triangular holder with a tripod like design. This makes it so much easier to move around and find the perfect placement. Love it. Super happy. Easy to set up. 24 hour timer and tipping and overheating protection. Piece of mind. Helpful. Would definitely highly recommend this wonderfully warm and comfy heater.
