As the title says I’m a beginner, just got into the CCW world. After doing some research I kept running into OSIGHT and their affordable yet good optics. I think being a beginner I was ok with going with OSIGHT - ignorance is bliss - and it was a great choice. I went with the green dot thinking it would stand out more in the daylight. I also ordered a torque screwdriver as well as a laser bore sight, as I know this willl not be the last optic I’ll buy. Installation was easy , it came with multiple screws, no additional plate needed. It fit right on my Glock 43x. After taking it to the range it has held ZERO. The glass is crisp and clear , the green dot light is adjustable and stands out even during sunny days. Only issue I may have is sometimes the buttons are hard to press to make my needed adjustments but besides that it’s a great product. I just got a CZ P-10f optics ready and OSIGHT is on the top of my list when it’s time to get an optic.

Update May 2, 2026.. I daily carry, for part of the day it is locked up when in the shop. For me the battery life has been 9 months. For full time carry I would say the life span would be 4-5 months and that is still very good for the optic and taking into account the low profile with a side loading tray all works out great. As for astigmatism the 32 MOA circle is what has me locked in on this brand and with its low price. No grape nuts with the circle just a bright ring with a faint ring offset, makes it very easy to stay on target and accurate. Had the optic bore sighted and carried for months before getting time to verify zero. Did 50 rounds of mag dumps and was just a tad low but that would be attributed to verifying zero on a 7 yard target that was set up for my grandson, didn’t cut him off from shooting he at 9yo with a goat 15 and red dot shredded the center of the target on his first day and on his second day kept his groups in a 2.5-3 inch group. Back on topic, the Osight is the easiest of my dots to pick up on and this model with a 35 MOA circle was easy peasy and held up great with mag dumping rapid fire. Liked it so much more than all other brands I purchased that I ordered the 6MOA green dot to see if it will work better with my astigmatism. Until another brand can beat the price, better view with astigmatism and low profile with quick pick up on the dot I will be only getting Osight.

I had an Sig Romeo RS on my P365 Macro, and ever since the start, I’ve had problems. From the battery tray and screw not tightening when I got it, to the dot shutting off when firing, even after getting a replacement tray and screw from Sig. I love my P365 but the optic was really making it a problem. So after getting frustrated with that I decided to give Osight a try. To be honest I haven’t taken it to the range yet, I was so excited about the unboxing experience that I had to write this review right away. I’ll update here if I have any issues at the range. But what I can tell you is that the people at Osight really made an impression on me with this optic. The price is a huge advantage, and the unboxing experience was almost like an apple product unboxing, which is saying a lot. Everything feels very premium and a lot of thought and care went into it. Instructions are easy to follow, and it is a perfect fit on the 365, including having space for the “sig locks” (the little tiny studs that help the screws keep the optic aligned. I know not all optics are compatible with those, so nice that this one is. The reticle is bright or dim depending on the setting, and shake awake works great. The best part for me is the battery compartment. Clearly 10x better designed than the Sig one. Hard to describe, but trust me, this is premium. I’ve seen a lot of reviews that say this optic holds up well over time and maintains a zero and is pretty abuse tolerant. It’s a big plus that the emitter is enclosed, and it is great for concealability. I’m super excited, and if I don’t come back and update this review, you can be sure that it has held up as other reviewers have already noted. Great job Osight!

I really like Olight Products, so when I was shopping for a new enclosed dot sight I didn't hesitate gravitating toward the Osight SE. I had to choose between the red or green and the 6moa dot or the 2 moa dot with a 32moa circle. So I ordered both! This review is for the Green 2 moa dot with the circle. What a great job Osight did with this optic. I am not new to the dot optics world, I have a couple of Sig and Trijicon open emitter dot sights on pistols, so I was looking forward to testing the Osight product line. Awesome price point, quality, function and features that other "big brands" can't touch. The viewing window is ample and the clarity is on par, so this review is geared to those making the decision between the 2 moa and 6 moa options. Personally, I prefer the red 6 moa. The green is a nice well distinguished color with crisp lines, but the 2 moa dot alone is small and when combined with the circle it is a little to busy for my liking. The 2 moa dot alone is a bit more accurate, but I am slower with my follow up shots. The question is, what is your intended purpose. Hey! This is only my opinion and others might have a different opinion. Regardless, Osight knocked it out of the park with this sight. I will continue with my tests on different pistols. Either way, red or green. 2 moa or 6 moa, you can't go wrong with Osight.

I’ve been using the Osight SE on several of my pistols now, including my M&P9 M2.0 Carry, Canik METE MC9 Prime, and Glock 19 Gen6, and overall I’ve been very happy with them. What I like most is that it’s a compact enclosed optic without the price tag of some of the more established brands. The enclosed emitter is a big plus for me, especially on guns that get carried and spend time in a holster. I don’t have to worry as much about lint, dust, or debris getting around the emitter, and cleaning it is much easier. The glass is clear, the dot is easy to pick up, and the window is a good size without making the optic feel bulky. I’ve used these on different-sized pistols and the SE has felt right at home on all of them. It stays compact enough for the MC9 Prime but also looks and performs great on the larger M&P and Glock. The side-loading CR1620 battery is another feature I really appreciate. I can change the battery without removing the optic and disturbing the mount or zero. The motion activation also works exactly how I want it to—pick up the pistol and the optic is ready to go. At the range, the dot has been easy to track during recoil and quick to reacquire between shots. Once zeroed, mine have stayed consistent and have done everything I’ve asked of them. The build quality also surprised me. The housing feels solid, the controls are simple, and the overall fit and finish are better than I expected at this price. The biggest compliment I can give the Osight SE is that I didn’t stop after buying one. I liked the first one enough that I now have them on three different pistols. If you’re looking for a compact enclosed red dot with clear glass, a side-loading battery, motion activation, and a reasonable price, the Osight SE is definitely worth a look.

Kickass little Red Dot Sight with all the features you expect on the more expensive brands. I run Trijicon, Aimpoint, and a bunch of Holosun sights with no complaints. But this SE has the metal housing, all the reticle options, all the setting options, AND comes shipped in the coolest, most thoughtfully complete box (complete with LOTS of extra everything), at a price that cannot be ignored. I put one on my G48 and love it. I recommend them to my students. One student's battery tray screw vibrated loose and was lost on an outdoor range. I reached out to OSight's customer service on their behalf with a brief explanation of the lost battery tray screw. The customer service email response was immediate, and they had a new replacement screw in the mail the same day at no cost. A quality sight and next level customer service - you cannot go wrong.

This optic really does stack up to other enclosed emitter options on the market as far as performance goes. It's great for compact carry due to its low profile, the window is plenty big to give the user an great objective view. The optic housing feels sturdy. The glass feels sturdy as well. The reticle is on par with every popular brand including Holosun and Vortex. The battery can be changed without removing the optic which is a huge advantage. Made out of lightweight aluminum and is compatible with the RMSc footprint.
