The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace the fan in my office that was 20 years old. I am very happy with this item! It's much more quieter and brighter than my old fan. Pros: Very quiet Bright LED main light Because it's an LED light, it should last FOREVER Really cool LED color ring App enabled Remote included Fan is variable speed (not just 3 speeds like old lights) Cons: My old fan switch doesn't work now because this uses the same power wire for both the fan and light. It uses LED lights for the main light. Theoretically it should last forever, but if it doesn't, I don't know if you can buy another one. It's not an LED bulb, it's an LED board. But, it should last longer than the fan.

The installation was quick and straightforward for this fan/light. I'm very leary of the new fan technology being without pull chains and common lights bulbs that are selectable and changeable by consumers, but this combo offers dimmability and selectable light warmth (via a remote control) of the LED light. All of these functions worked for a whopping 3 weeks. I purchases 2 of these for 2 bedrooms in our home. I have 1 that's still "functioning" as expected and this lemon. Furthermore the customer service from the manufacturer is outright awful. Your only contact with them is via chat, which they take DAYS to respond to... if at all. They asked for photos and videos showing the issues. Neither a photo or video would have given any better information than I describe. I've been patient with the company and haven't gotten far at all so I based my 1 star on Orison's abysmal customer service, more than the fan's capabilities. Just know that they seem to have a 50% failure rate.

UPDATE: While the product was defective, I received a reply back from Orison after my original review and they offered me a full refund or a new fan even though it was past time for a return. I just received the refund and I am more than pleased with their customer service! Also, since I still had the product, they sent me a free ship label so I can send them the product and they could find out what went wrong. Which shows they do care about creating a quality product. original: I installed this about 6 months ago and it worked perfectly for about 3 months. Then there were nights we would turn off the fan via remote or app, and we would wake up with the light automatically coming on at night. The fans speeds would start acting up and when we would use the back colored light, it would just possess out. The main light would turn on and off or the background light would just start blinking. Now the product doesnt work on the remote or app at all. I cant turn any of the lights on or the fan. We've tried turning it on and off by the wall switch. Leaving it off for a while or on for a while.. turning it off and on after waiting 30 seconds, reinstalling the app, everything. Changing the remote batteries. Nothing worked. Now I have install a whole new ceiling fan and I am beyond frustrated about that. I installed all the ceiling fans in the house (which is the biggest pain for me since I'm so short) and all are still working great except this one. Worst part is is that its in my bedroom and my main source of lighting in there.
