This is in my nursery, so the fact that I can silence the ceiling fan is a huge bonus! The fan is overall very quiet and the installation was pretty easy. I’ve installed light fixtures before but this was my first ceiling fan installation so it took me about 20 minutes. I honestly looked at ceiling fans for about a week before purchasing this one for my 10 month old’s bedroom. I’m excited to have dance parties underneath the RBG lights later. My husband and i just installed three new ceiling fans, this being one of them. This is the only one that beeps when you click a button and we had no idea how frustrating it would be on the other fans to not have them beep. We sometimes like to change the speed of the fan while watching tv and we have no idea if the other fans are actually slowing down or not. This device does not operate at 100-235V / 60 Hz as the description erroneously claims. An inaccurate description does not inspire confidence in the equipment. For someone living in a 230V/60 Hz country, the accuracy of this information is absolutely critical.

    • Dont get this if you use google home.

If you are fine using this with the remote or app, this is a decent fan. But if you are a Google home user this is basically unusable. It doesn't really support other platforms besides tuya, it just uses tuya's awful integration that only allows voice activation; which is almost impossible to use due to a combination of tuya not having decent english activation phrases, and the device not joining google properly so terms like bedroom light on will cause google to glitch since google doesn't see the lights from this fan being in the room, even if you name them specifically the term you are saying. I will be avoiding all tuya based devices going forward since I bought this with smart home integration in mind. Update, They have improved google home support, you can control the lights now, but for whatever reason both the color ring and down light are treated as one light. ... show more

This is my 3rd Orison fan. I have a smaller (34 inch) ceiling fan and one of their battery powered floor fans. This fan, is just the right size for my master bedroom. This one at 44 inches moves a lot of air quickly. I like the low profile design and the RGB background lights. The main light is good and bright and replaced my old ceiling light. The remote works fine with it, but I prefer using the the app at times as it gives you more options for customizing it. With a proper installation, this fan runs very smoothly and makes very little noise. I really like it and I’m enjoying the increased air circulation this summer. ... show more

The fan looks nice and my daughter likes it in her room. It was easy to put in and fit well in her room which is 14x14. The light was NOT bright so we had to use high output bulbs. For the money, it's a great deal.

I purchased this fan a few months ago and had it installed by an electrician. It stopped working. The multicolor lights just flicker and flash. They won’t turn off. Nothing else works and the remote is useless. I’m extremely upset, as this was a costly purchase with installation. I tell everyone I can to avoid this fan. ... show more
