The quality of this item was higher than I expected. The material feels thicker than I thought it would be. The jacket has a liner and is heavy, substantial. Not cheaply made. I only used the pants by cutting off the pant legs and turning them into shorts. The suit is not ideal for a outdoor 80’s party in summer. This suit is thick and hot. I ditched the jacket because it was so heavy to wear during 90 degree weather. But this item is worth it.

My son wore this suit to homecoming. He normally wears a size 36 pant. I ended up buying every size they had from 38-52 because the pants were slim fit and typically he cannot wear slim fit. He is athletic and has big thighs and butt. He ended up wearing a size 46 pants but 44 jacket. Everyone LOVED his suit. He got so many compliments. We are going on a family vacation to Las Vegas in November. He plans on wearing it in Vegas. Highly recommend the suit!!

Awesome product! As others have said, given that it's a 100% polyester novelty suit, the quality is fantastic. I wear suits to work almost everyday and the quality is certainly a couple notches below that, but again, on the spectrum of what you'd expect from a nice suit and what you'd expect from a Halloween costume, this is much closer to the former (especially the jacket, which is nicely lined, unlike the pants, which aren't lined and the polyester alone is a bit thin). On fit, order 1-2 full sizes larger. I'm 6'2, 215 lbs. Usually wear a 44 regular jacket (46 if its a skinny fit) and 38x32 pants. Here, I wrestled with whether to get a 46 or a 48 - since I was trying to follow the advice of going one size up and I have a mix of 44 and 46 suits in my closet. Then I saw advice on the sizing chart saying when in doubt, go with the bigger size. Okay, so I got the 48. Fit great. Waist was perfect on the pants. Chest near perfect (a touch big) on the jackets. It's got a little more in the way of shoulder pads than you'd see in a typical 2019 suit - not in a noticeably bad way though, and that probably helps the jacket be a little more forgiving on fit. Pants were a little long - honestly I could have worn them without hemming, but did do a quick hem there. I'd also have taken an inch off the sleeves if I was going to be wearing this as a work suit, but didn't bother considering I don't expect to wear it much. Also be sure to give the jacket a quick ironing (on a low, polyester setting) before wearing - not strictly necessary, but you don't want to look rumpled. To sum up, go for it - if you want to stand out, these suits will do it. Quality is much better than you'd expect for a novelty suit. Just be sure to go 1-2 sizes up.

Suit was sealed into the plastic so their is melted plastic/glue all over the top of pants. Jacket was a little tight. I ordered one size larger and the pants were not even close to fitting. 48 jacket basically came with men’s size 28 pants. So if you have toothpick legs and wear women’s low cut pants with a burly chest you should get one

As others have said the sizing is off. I usually wear a 38r sized almost exactly. That would be a 32 waist. I ordered a 40 jacket and I'm glad I did because the pants seem to be sized down at 32. I'm not sure if they expect you to get the thing altered but for a 100 dollar suit getting 30 bucks of alterations doesn't seem like it makes sense. Otherwise quality is good all things considered.

Buy one or two sizes up. The pants especially run slim. That said, the suit is very comfortable cloth and well made. We all had to go on diets to fit into the suits. I had to buy leggings... but I will cut the pants to shorts for summer. I can almost fit into them. I bought a size 40. I'm 5'9 175# with 35" inseam. All the guys in the band had the same issue, pants were tight. We get compliments on our outfits, every gig. They are cool. I bought a different suit because I had sunglasses for years and had never had something that matched them. My sunglasses say, "Wow" on the lens, so I had to buy the suit with exclamations on it. There was no other option for me. It was too perfect. The suit jacket has two outer pockets with flaps and deep inner pocket. Buttons up. Warm. We are going to cut the sleeves and add snaps for modification in summer.

First and foremost this suit is awesome. I went through and read all the comments. My biggest question was what size to order. After digging around I found out I was a size 42. The comments said go one size bigger and I did. It was a perfect fit. This suit does come with pants. They're a little long, but nothing that can't be fixed. I was in a bind as I waited until the last minute. What impressed me the most was the how fast they got it delivered to me. With in two days of placing my order, it was here at my doorstep. Bought this bad boy for my b-day &, oh buddy, was that a great decision! I turned the grocery story into Compliment City, population: ME. Folks looked at me like I was either a monster, a rockstar, a swinger or a street magician - you don't purchase a suit of this magnitude looking to fly under the radar. Perfect for every occasion, outside of MAYBE funerals & the actual ceremony part of the wedding. It is rude to steal the spotlight in any of those circumstances, ya know. One thing, tho: These do run a bit small. I had limited choices of what size I could get at the time. Usually, I'd opt for 32 or 34. All that was left, I believe, was a 36 so I got it. Fit perfect! Keep that in mine when you're tryna look this fine. If you've been on the fence about picking up one of these - do it. Do it now. You will be thankful you did. Life-changer. Right here.
