The price for this was almost commensurate with the lack of quality in the unit. You can hear, quite literally, the processor every time you click on anything that makes it do any work, through the built in speakers. I bought this to build a local controller for Home Assistant, and didn’t want to dedicate a $350+ tablet to do it, but this one seems barely capable of performing the task. It is very laggy, sluggish, and I can hear every time I’ve made it do any work because the speakers hum as the processor processes it’s tasks. Bzzz, bzzzzz, bzzz, bzzzz. Almost like a controlled static. On a nostalgic note, it almost reminds me of the dial up Internet days. (For you young people, high speed internet used to mean that nobody in your house picked up the phone while you downloaded your pictures of the Kardashian’s grandmother.) Anyway, I think it’s going to be “back to the drawing board” on this one. Update: Or should I say DOWNdate? After a few months, this unit entirely stopped working. No apps on it, nada. Was using it as a control tablet for Home Assistant. It was only barely adequate for that, and now it is a target when I go to the range. Junk. ... show more

Sorry it took so long to get back with my review; I had a hard time reading the fine print. At 8:03a today, Tuesday May 7th, i was able to access the system and get it set up. Now that it's available to use correctly. Thanks so much, it's better than the last tablet I had and with the speakers on both sides of the unit, I've got stereo' it's a lot louder than my phone or laptop. The only thing I ask of you is that the instructions are in a bigger font for older people who wear glasses don't need other optical assistance to read it. Comes with a screen protector installed, don't buy one with it despite the amazon recommendation. Works for what I needed, in my case just a basic tablet to run excel, pdf reader, etc. A bit slow but I expected that for the $50 I spent on it. Annoying part is that after I had it all set up the way I wanted, it reset the icons on my homescreen and added a google search bar that can't be moved or removed. Got my icons fixed but had to put them on a second page to ignore the google bar. ... show more

For a generic android this is perfect. My grandson age 6 loves to watch his shows and has learned how to adjust the volume and use the rewind and forward buttons ro replay his favorite parts! A very small tablet but not too bad for $50-60. Can't use it for much except YouTube videos or something. Cheap cost = weak capabilities and memory. It'd probably keep a child entertained with SpongeBob or some small size game under 1 gig. You could probably find a document app somewhere and do a lot paperwork or who knows.
