I had to get a replacement because the first one I received had a problem with the motor. The replacement works well and prints very fast. It doesn't come with a holder if you have a roll of labels so you have to come up with your own holder. The print is not perfect and has a few light spots, but it could be the paper. It's a nice alternative to using a inkjet printer and having to cut the label off the page and tape it on. Just peel and stick with this.

First thing is get better paper. This stuff wrinkles when you put it on the box so easy it is almost not worth your time printing on it in the first place, none of the barcodes will work if it wrinkles. With that said if you swap out the paper it works great and i have yet to have an issue just sucks that there is no storage for the paper so it takes up a ton of space on the desk.

This USB-only thermal label printer is a straightforward, affordable option for basic label printing tasks, especially for applications that only require simple page printing. There is zero additional software control expect print. However, the label feed setup can be unreliable, as it sometimes adjusts to the first label correctly and other times advances too far, wasting a label. The lack of clear setup information on the company’s website and inconsistent calibration with different thermal labels add some frustration. Overall, it’s functional, but the minimal support and lack of polish in label handling might be drawbacks if you need a more consistent, user-friendly solution.

I had never used a thermal label maker before but after spending hours addressing individual envelopes by hand for bulk Christmas cards last year, I decided to try this label printer out. I wasn't sure what to expect and was honestly a little intimidated by the thought of using a thermal label printer, but it was SO EASY to set up and even came with a small stack of 4x6 adhesive labels to get me started. I didn't need 4x6 for Christmas cards but this is compatible with other size labels so I just ordered some in smaller sizes to have on hand too. To set up, you just plug the included USB dongle into your computer to install the driver/software, connect the printer via the included USB cord, load up a label on the computer (I tried sample printing an old shipping label from USPS as a test run but you can print from other sources), and print. It did take me a few tries to figure out how to adjust the orientation from landscape to portrait on my computer but it is very intuitive and I figured it out quickly. The label printer itself is very heavyweight and feels exceptionally sturdy. The lilac-grey version is a unique color I've never seen anywhere else and it has a custom-shaped LED indicator light on top that makes this utility purchase also unexpectedly gorgeous. The hinge feels very well built and locks into place when the lid is completely lifted to keep it from slamming down unexpectedly during label loading. Everything about this product is quality. The print quality is also top notch, and it prints one label in- no joke- between 2-3 seconds. I have a few dozen Christmas cards to send out this year and what would normally take me a few hours to address by hand will probably take me all of about 2 minutes to print on this. The feeder mechanism that guides the labels into the machine is adjustable so you can use small labels all the way up to a max of 4"x6" labels. It takes a standard thermal printer type of label so you can get refills almost anywhere. This is a high-quality GAME CHANGER! Suddenly I dread sending Christmas cards a lot less... When I ordered I wasn't sure what this came with so to clarify, the box comes with: 1. Power Cable / USB cable about the same size and shape as a small laptop charger. One end plugs into the wall, the other end is split into two forks. The first fork plugs into the label printer and the second fork ends in a USB to plug into the computer. Make sure you have this set up very close to your computer and an outlet! 2. A very small USB dongle that has the driver you need to install on your computer to be able to actually use the printer. 3. The printer itself, which is roughly the size and shape of a large box of quart-sized disposable sandwich bags. 4. A small stack of 4x6 printer labels to get you started 5. A set-up guide. It's extremely well-written and thorough. Some electronics I've used in the past have a guide that only includes how to turn the product on/off and some safety warnings but the guide that comes with this label printer is very thorough and easy to understand.
