Great hose. Light weight and easy to manage. So far seems very durable. This is my second hose of the same brand. I have a garden about 100 feet away from the water spigot. Had been using a 3/4" heavy duty rubber hose for years. This one is so much lighter and easier to handle than the rubber. dosent seen to kink easily and is a breeze to hang on the hose hanger.     • Nice hose, the aluminum threads are problematic with brass connectors.

This a nice lightweight hose that is easy to handle; I much prefer this hose to the typical green rubber hose. The one down side is the aluminum threaded ends. Many spray nozzles are brass. Brass and aluminum in contact with each other will corrode and "weld" together. You will have a very hard time removing a brass spray nozzle that has been on the Orbit aluminum threads for a few weeks. To prevent this I added a plastic adapter to the Orbit hose which separates the brass from aluminum. So far, the plastic adapter is working nicely. ... show more

So far so good... this is the best hose I have ever purchased, at least thus far. We still haven't seen it go through a winter to see how durable it is to the elements. It is really lightweight, especially after you let the pressure off and let it drain. Very hard to kink. Excellent retraction on our hose reel makes it a snap to handle. Facts about Orbit hoses. 1) they sell different types with different outer products. The Orbit one I got from Costco 100 ft is crazy durable. This one on Amazon totally worthless. The first ( 50ft) tore ( no idea how. It lays in a garage next to nothing. It tore at about the 2-3 month mark. Past the 30 day return window. The manufacturer offers a one-year warranty. But Amazon did take it back after seeing the photos gave me my money back and I bought another one same exact one this time it happened at about the 40 day mark see the photos and then the inner hose pops through, and within a matter of two days, it expands to where you can’t use it anymore, meaning the hose comes through the opening and you can’t use it anymore. This time Amazon said no we won’t take it back your past the window. But I told them this is clearly a defective product. They said call the manufacturer for the one year warranty. I called them And talk to someone. I explain everything to them by the way I waited a long time to get somebody on the phone. OK so I talk to them tell them what’s going on. They hung up the phone on me. Frustrated at this point, I called Amazon back and they said no worries. Just send it back to us. Will give you your money back. They did not charge me a restocking fee. so I moved to a different brand on Amazon see how well it hold up but the Costco one just so you know they don’t sell that now because it’s sold in spring, is extremely durable and it’s by orbit. This one on Amazon definitely was not the one for me and I’m just watering the front yard and plants and landscape , use your judgment out on this ... show more

First impression is that I really like this hose. Lightweight, solid build quality, and great throughput. Both ends are nicely finished and it's easy to attach/detach to spigot and accessories. My only regret is buying the 50-foot length. I should have gone for the 100-foot for a few dollars more.
