I just installed this product a couple days ago so I will need to report back on its ongoing operation. It is smaller and more delicate than I had thought from the video and images. It was packaged so that the main light was tucked behind the sensor and could not be raised unless it was unscrewed a bit (see photo). I learned from asking a question that it was okay to do this. (By the way, it seems impossible to find the Amazon Q&A for this product so what is going on there?) The screw looked like it had already been slightly worn so I am worried that it can easily be stripped while adjusting. The side lights are easily swivelable but the main light requires a screwdriver to loosen and adjust and tighten it. Again, I worry about stripping the screw head which seems rather inferior. Anyway, I managed to set it up after moving the lights out of the way so I could drill holes and screw it in (see photo). The light is very bright (as reported by others) and cannot be dimmed at all (so pointing it toward the neighbors' windows might be problematic). The knobs for sensitivity and distance are tiny. It works for these first two nights -- and I hope that it works for a long time! I will certainly increase its rating if it does. (The Olafus website is helpful for Q&A as well.) ... show more

We live in the country and don't like having a yard light on all night. For an LED light it throws light down to the end of a 300 foot drive way and about half that to either side. This lights up one whole side of the house and yard. Motion, with the right adjustments, can be detected far out from the house, nothing can sneak up on us now. Receive this light in good packaging. Very Bright Light as soon as its plugged in One customer said that the center light is is behind the sensor....this was for packaging purposes...you can take a screw driver and unscrew the center slowly until it becomes loose and then tighten back in place when you get the perfect groove and height that you desire. You do not have to force it. Another Customer also said it can only mount with the sensor at the top ONLY...This is also incorrect, The way to mount this is with the sensor below.....and then you will have access to the knobs and can place sensor at whatever angle you want The time for the sensor starts from secs to minutes....I have mines on 2 minutes and it works well....I believe it starts at 15 secs and goes up to 7 mins...... I will not give it 5 stars because the Motion detection is not as sensitive as I would prefer....Seems the object has to get really close before the light comes on even at full sensitivity....
