I first bought a set of these BAGAIL mesh laundry bags about six years ago - I still have that set, and I still love them, though some of them are starting to show some wear. Which makes sense, as in that six years they've certainly seen a LOT of use. I use them to wash delicates, but also my Rothy's shoes, strappy shirts that tend to get tangled up in other things, and other random items as needed. So a couple months ago, I pulled up the listing for the bags (thanks, Amazon purchase history for making this so easy!) and ordered another set. Now, I will say this - they're inexpensive. I paid well under $10 for this current set, and if I didn't have the older set to compare against, I'd be thrilled. To get a set of 5 for so cheap, at some point you do have to level-set your expectations on what you're actually getting, which is fair enough. But since I do have that older set, it's clear to see that time has not improved the product. In my picture, the older bag is on the left, the newer is on the right (everything's wrinkled because I'm lazy and just shove these in my laundry room cabinet when not in use, oops). It's hard to fully tell the difference in quality between the two using pictures alone. The most visible example is with the zippers. The older set uses a nicer quality zipper, both in terms of the pull tab itself (metal with a clear plastic covering) and the actual zipper, while the newer set is nothing but cheap clunky plastic. The difference in the zipper tabs also makes it harder to tuck the newer tabs into the elastic sleeve at the end of the zipper, which is necessary to protect the zipper tab over time. But the fabric is different too - the older set uses a much finer mesh that feels nicer, even after all these years and all this use. The newer set still uses a fine mesh, but the quality definitely isn't what it used to be, and I am not at all confident that this newer set will still be largely intact in two years, let alone six. I do like that there's a wide range of bag sizes offered. My new set has one XL sized bag, two large and two medium bags. Truthfully, all of these are probably bigger than I strictly need, but I appreciate the flexibility offered by the larger sizes. You can fit as much or as little as you want in the bags, and while I don't use them for traveling, I could absolutely see using them for travel as well. So, in short - for the price, I do still recommend this product. Like I said, if I didn't have the older set to compare against, it's likely I'd be thrilled with the set on its own and rate it five stars. It's only because I have the older set to compare against and am readily able to see the differences over time that I knocked off a star. But these are still very much worth getting, especially if you can get them on a sale.

I'm excited when a purchase is absolutely perfect, like these mesh bags. I especially like that the zipper pull gets "locked" under a piece of fabric, which not only prevents the zipper from opening but also prevents it from snagging on anything else in the washer load. These enable me to machine wash delicates that are labelled "hand wash only" on the delicate cycle. I would unconditionally recommend.

I originally ordered theses on December 20, 2019. I still have them, are still using them, and they are holding up amazingly well. The zippers, usually the part most at risk of breaking off, are still intact, and I use them in my laundry on a regular basis. In addition, the mesh feels and looks stronger than in other brands, which I have tried before with disappointment. Both mesh bag sizes fit a wide array and size of items.. I haven't tried a sheet in there but I do put my silk pillowcases to avoid their being banged around. It's unusual to write a review so long after a product purchase but I am going back to review those I have missed. It's a good thing, really, to do this as the review can take into account how the product has performed over time. In this case, it remains an outstanding product and one over which I can, and do, loudly proclaim: Highly recommended!

My first time using mesh laundry bags and I’m learning. I bought these bags because I’m a single woman who needs to use the laundromat or public apartment laundry machines and would prefer not to have my bras and panties/thongs out for the world to see. All of these bags stayed closed during washing but of course the one bag I had for my panties opened as they were drying. I did notice you need to double check that the zipper is tucked but I thought it was. The design could be better but everything else stayed zipped. The bra bags seemed the most secure. Overall good price and great if you’d like some privacy in public.

I purchased them in 2021 and I love these laundry bags I have used them so many times and they are a great purchase I would definitely purchase again. I put jogging pants and heavy shoes in my bags and they are the best quality!!! I would recommend these I waited to review them because I wanted to see how long they would last and they are still new and the zippers are in perfect condition, I love them.
