  • Happy with its performance
We were a little cautious on this one due to the price when compared to normal OBDII scanners. However, our attitude began to change the moment we started to unpack everything. It really does come with everything you need. A multitude of (heavy-duty) cables for the various brands of bikes. In our case, we made use of the Yamaha adapter/cable, which works great. One of our colleagues here has a Yamaha Star Venture that this is currently being used with. He was having some troubles and has been using this throughout the process of getting it running again. He has been quite happy with it. The general build of the unit is pretty tough. It is also decently large, making it easy to grab hold of and punch your way through the buttons without having to take your gloves off in most cases. You have directional arrows, along with an ENT (enter) and ESC (escape/back) button. Other than a power button, that's it. Easy to use and easy to read as long as you have used a scanner like this before. It doesn't feel like one of those cheaper options you'd find at a place like Wallyworld. It seems to have a serious interface that boots up and has a lot of features to make use of. Good for hobbyists, DIYers at home, and mechanics. If we find anything else that excites us, we may have to come back with updates (or if we find anything we don't like). ... show more

  • Works great!
If you have a bike get yourself one of these. It takes all the guesswork out of it. Well worth the money and so easy to use.

  • What a great scanner!
Very user friendly! I was surprised that it will work on anything if you have the right cords! Yes it works on cars! It has the ability to actually find out what obd2 system you have and then scan it! Very satisfied with this! Worked perfectly on Harley! I purchased it because I work on Massimo vehicles, but haven’t had a chance to try it out on one yet. ... show more

  • Don’t buy
Does not work on Harley Davidson, it is a well built unit and has all the adapter cables. Would have been great for our shop, the company that sales them through Amazon was great on return. I got a 2 nd one hoping it would work. And they did a return on it as well.

  • Very Expensive Paperweight, with $80 annual registration
Edit: I'm amending my review because the company reached out to me after posting my One Star review. They offered a full refund for the product, so I'm happy about that since this device did not work on my Harley. I don't know if I got a bad scanner or what, but I followed their customer service diagnostic steps and it still didn't work. So, I really appreciate that the company refunded the device even though it was past the return window. They were very easy to work with in that regard. Here are my issues with the device itself, if it had worked properly. 1. You will have to pay $80 annually for the software license. The first year is free, but after that you have to pay for the license. If you have a motorcycle shop, I can see this making sense. But, not so much for the home mechanic with one or two bikes who may need to use it less than once a year. The various Youtube channels stated that this was the perfect scanner for home mechanics who just want to work on their own bikes. I'm guessing they didn't know about the annual fee after the first year (if they did know, and didn't mention it, that is an issue with their reliability). 2. ABS function. Even had the scanner worked properly, you cannot use this to bleed your ABS brakes on a Harley Davidson equipped with ABS. So many of the Youtubers said this was possible. It was GixxerFoo's recommendation for this function that I bought the scanner. My shop wants $300 to bleed my brakes with their computer attached. This scanner would pay for itself if I used it twice for bleeding ABS brakes. However, and the company confirmed this, that is not a function this scanner is capable of. So, is this the company's fault, or the youtubers? So many of them said the same things, I'm guessing the company gave them a free scanner in return for them doing a positive review of the scanner. I'm also guessing they sent the youtubers a list of features, which probably included ABS bleeding and resetting. ABS Bleeding is actually listed on the scanner as an option, but it doesn't do anything when selected. So few Youtubers actually show them using the scanner, I'm guessing they did their reviews without even using the device to see that it does everything it claims. Now, if the company didn't compel the youtubers to say these things and the Youtubers made their videos on their own without actually testing the scanner, that is fully on them. So, I changed my rating from One to Three Stars because the scanner I received didn't work, and if it had, it still wouldn't have been able to perform the functions I bought it for, and would cost me money after the fact each year to use it. However, the company was very quick to issue a refund after reaching out to me and stating I could send it back for a refund. I did receive the full refund, so I am very pleased with their service in that regard. Original Post: This device does not work. I bought it in preparation of some work I wanted to do to my Harley in the future. I went to use it today, it does not work. It is literally a piece of garbage. The manual won't download, it will not connect to my bike, it says connection not possible. Just a complete waste of money. Also, it costs $80 per year to renew the software after the first year. If you are not willing to pay $80 annually for this scanner (which doesn't work for me anyway) it just becomes a very expensive paperweight. ... show more

  • Awsome
Lots of money for this but is it worth it? YES! My Polaris Ranger 570 Mide Size which I purchased new never ran right. 20 was top speed and with 77 hours started cutting off at 4000 rpm. After replacing the fuel and completely cleaning the fuel tank-nothing! Acted like the fuel pump was bad or at least the filter was very dirty-Neither was the issue as psi was 50+. I made this purchase instead of taking it to the shop-Fixed the problem immediately. Was 4 codes including throttle body and speed control. It now runs like it just woke up! Fast and no more cutting out at 4,000 rpm. Worth every cent - Shop would have costed an arm and a leg! Zeroed the bad codes & no parts-fixed! ... show more
