Well, they look nice. But after an hour or so, they looked very nice cracked open on the ground. But hey. At least they protected the camera when it dropped to the cement porch below. They do not stay stuck to glass. And yes. I prepped the glass. Even used rubbing alcohol to make sure nothing was left that could make these mounts not stick. I would try it on brick, but the one little screw and screw hole…well. I’d be surprised if they survived a hard tug. The weight of the camera is too much. There should be a screw on top and on the bottom to be honest. They are not able to be screwed or anything now. I will just get the mounts that go by tension and have a piece inside of the door. These were a waste of money. If you aren’t going to use the screws to mount and are relying on the adhesive….yeah, don’t.

This adhesive mount is a practical option for someone who wants to install a compatible Ring battery doorbell without drilling into the wall or door frame. I tried fitting the bracket with a doorbell to see how everything lined up, and the shape felt specific to the device rather than like a generic plate. The doorbell sat in place neatly, and the cover design did not seem to block the main front area. The biggest appeal is the renter friendly setup. Not everyone can put holes in trim, siding, or apartment walls, so an adhesive mount like this makes sense. The backing feels strong when pressed into place, though surface prep will matter a lot. I would only use it on a clean, smooth, dry surface. Rough paint, dusty trim, or textured siding may not give the adhesive enough contact. That is not unique to this mount, but it is important. The bracket itself feels sturdy enough for holding the doorbell in a normal entryway setup. It is not overly bulky, and the design looks clean once the doorbell is seated. I like that it gives the doorbell a more finished look instead of just sticking a bare plate onto the wall. The cover helps everything look intentional. The installation process is simple. The parts are easy to understand, and I did not have trouble figuring out where the doorbell should sit. Alignment is the step I would take slowly, because adhesive mounts are less forgiving than screw mounts. Once it is pressed on, you want it straight. I would also make sure the location gives a clear view before attaching it. For security, I would still be realistic. An adhesive bracket is convenient, but it is not the same as a mount screwed into solid material. For an apartment, covered porch, or low risk entry area, the convenience may be worth it. For an exposed spot where someone could pull at it, a more permanent mount may be better. This is a useful accessory if you need a no drill option for a compatible Ring battery doorbell. It looks clean, feels easy to install, and solves a real problem for renters or anyone avoiding holes. The adhesive surface and placement will make the biggest difference in how well it works.

So it does its job. I bought this for my blink camera to attach to my RV. I used the adhesive because I can’t really drill anything in, and the adhesive works really well so far. The problem I have is the box is a decent amount bigger than the camera, so the camera is just kind of leaning against the opening. And it does work, I was just expecting something a little more snug.

So I got this for a a property we own which is a condo so rules can be strict. I needed something that was easy to install with no drilling or screws required. I went with this for our battery doorbell plus 2nd generation. This was very easy to use and very easy to mount. The adhesive backing is solid and really strong. Of course if you want to mount it with hardware you can do that as well. I cleaned the surface area really well prior to mounting it where my old doorbell cam was. I let it air dry for about 15 minutes and proceeded to remove the white covers that cover the adhesive tape. Once I had it where I wanted it and wires where I needed them for my doorbell I firmly applied pressure to it and help it for 2-3 minutes. Once it was on I left it for a bit before putting our doorbell in place. I was very happy with how well the doorbell can fit into place. The mount is very durable and once stuck ok there it held our doorbell cam with no issues at all. Good solid contact with no slipping no movement of the mount whatsoever. Our field of view has not changed as this does not interfere with the lens or any functions of the doorbell cam whatsoever. Just please remember this mount is only for the new 2nd gen ring doorbell models and not the older models. Overall i am extremely pleased with how well this works especially with no drilling or screws needed unless you want to mount it that way. Excellent Mount.

I'm really impressed with this adhesive mount. It fits my Ring Battery Doorbell perfectly and holds securely without needing to drill any holes into the wall, making it completely renter friendly. The design is great because it doesn't block the doorbell sensor or the view at all. Installation was quick and simple. Highly recommend if you need a clean, sturdy mount without the hassle of drilling!
