I ordered this fan to install in my newly remodeled home office. It is great! I ordered this specific model because of the included wall mount remote. I wanted something I could install near the entry door to act as the controller and that also looked nice. Other wall mount remotes look pretty horrible. This one, on the other hand, looks great and has everything I need right there. The design is perfect in that the light on/off button is the largest button and easy to touch (this is a touch sensitive remote- not physical push buttons). It also has a second remote that I keep at my desk so I can adjust the fan speed, etc without needing to get up and use the wall remote. The blades of the fan are real wood like they say- but they are not hardwood. They appear to be balsa wood that is stained. Which is totally fine and not an issue. Solid hardwood, like walnut, would be far too heavy to use as a ceiling fan blade anyway. I'm just glad these aren't plastic painted to look like wood (which is what I have with a different brand fan in another room). This fan is absolutely silent. It does move a lot of air- I keep it on the lowest setting so it doesn't blow the papers off my desk. The light has three temperature settings. The default, the whitest, is too harsh for me as it feels more like a medical office. I keep mine on the warmest setting. You can program the fan to default to whichever light setting you prefer- although the instructions don't really say how to do that. The wall remote has a small display which shows the temperature of the room, but it is in Celsius and cannot be changed to Farenheit (I asked the manufacturer about it and they responded very quickly to my email). Not a big deal, just would be nice to have it in Farenheit. This fan looks great and complements my caribbean feel/theme of my new office perfectly. Very happy with this purchase! As far as the install- I took off one single star for a simple reason. The included bracket doesn't include screws or washers so that you can mount it to a typical metal ceiling box (like you would have here in the United States). It does work, but you will need to provide your own screws as well as a couple fender washers so the screws won't slip through the large holes in the bracket. Other than this the installation is very simple and straightforward.

I am upgrading our rating due to impressive communication from the manufacturer. I have installed many fans and I had no problem installing, however the install instructions need improvement overall. The difficulty with the instructions seems due to the language barrier. Our primary concern is that the light is advertised as "dimmable" however we learned it is actually a three way light. Achieving the three different brightness levels requires switching the light off and on again for each level. This is a very attractive fan, which is why we purchased it. We intend to keep the fan even though it is not dimmable as advertised, which is the only reason we rated four starts, otherwise it would be a five star rating.

Easy to install. Good airflow. Remote has too many features for what the lightless fan offers. If your remote dies, I agree you will have to replace the entire unit if the seller has moved on to other things. Blades may be walnut stained, but they are certainly not made of walnut or any kind of hard wood. Seller responded to me regarding how to sync or pair one remote to two or multiple fans or units. I have two fans and needed to sync them both to one remote. This is what they sent, and it is easy to do: Dear buyer Method: Please disconnect your home power supply, and then gather all the ceiling fans together (all ceiling fans are in a power-off state), then hold a remote control, keep pressing the "ALL OFF" red button (don't let go), and then Turn on the power until the ceiling fan makes a "beep" sound, then one remote control can control multiple ceiling fans You try it first, if not successful, please do not continue to try, it will damage the controller If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me Sincerely Nancy

I purchase two of these fans to take to Europe, since they are rated from 110v-220v. Easy to install all the hardware came with it including screws from cement. The fans worked perfect very quiet. I did have a problem with the lights, I contacted customer service via the email given in the instructions book. Not expecting a response to my surprise they responded the next day asking for more details. I replied back and within five business days I received replacement lights. Excellent customer service

The product is well designed with attractive wooden blades. Relatively easy to assemble; Note: easier to assemble the whole unit, THEN hang it on the ceiling; then connect electrical wires. I had some questions about installation and their customer service team responded with solutions right away!! Very good customer support and timely!! I Recommend the ceiling fan.

I am so glad this is the fan I chose for my outdoor patio. I wanted something to blend in with the patio ceiling (white) and still look natural and suited for outdoors. One feature I really like is that it is flush mount. Where I live has some very windy months and I would have been concerned with a normal drop mount type fan. The fan is pretty quiet and provides several speeds which is great. I also like the 3 types of light tones. I honestly can't say anything about installation as I had an electrician do it. It seemed pretty easy on his end though. I truly love this fan! :)
