We were looking to replace our covered patio fans and this one became a contender because of the styling. It also has solid wood blades and is wet rated -- both things we wanted in our new fans. We decided to take a chance due to the coupon being offered at the time as well and picked up two. The fans look great! They are quiet and move plenty of air. The fan has a 'breeze' mode where it picks up speed and slows down in intervals giving you a nice breeze -- I thought it was gimmicky until I tried it and honestly I love it. The light temperature is easy to set, but it does reset after you cut power to the fan at the wall switch. I found the easy way to not do that is to just not cut the source power. We just use the mounted remotes to control on/off and the fan remembers all its settings. Installation went well except there is so little space for the wires and the reciever. This isn't unique to this fan, most modern fans seem to want to optimise that space so you might be squishing your fingers some to get it all in there but it is doable. The first fan installed perfectly balanced, the second one required use of the little balancing kit. That can be a little annoying to do but that's not unique to this fan but something to watch out for. Overall it's a really nice upgrade from what we had, and modernized the space without breaking the bank! I also like how easily the blades come off and have no metal features. In the future I may take them down, sand and restain to another color to give it a more custom/elevated look. Similar products are out there were much more expensive so considering cost and everything, I am really happy with this purchase!

I have been looking for a fan of the right size to put in my daughter's room. I found one that was too big in Home Depot before , and finally chose this one after reading the comments. I do not regret my choice, the size of this fan is a perfect size for my daughter's room, the quality is also very good, very easy to install, I particularly like its shape and color, the most important I think the price is very acceptable. Overall, this fan is fine for the price. It looks great and it's mostly easy to install. What makes this fan bad is the remote. There is no option (from what I can tell) to control it without it. You cannot directly wire to a switch. So now instead of a clean setup on my wall, I'm forced to attach this large white plastic remote on the wall next to my light switch (which is now unusable anyway). Hopefully I don't lose the remote, because it doesn't remember light or fan settings when you toggle the power. Given the chance, I wouldn't purchase this again, but it's not bad enough that I want to take it down and return it.

I have built/hung many, many fans in my 49 years on this god forsaken planet in several different homes. This is BY FAR the worst pile of you know what I have come across. And we are likely talking about at least 15 fans. When I have a fan running in my bedroom at night (in Arizona), I need it to be quiet and move a decent amount of air. I am not expecting a miracle, but just no constant "clicking" or "humming". Also, the majority of the fans that I have tried have 3 speeds in which the LOW speed is almost useless... the MEDIUM speed is OK, but not really fast enough for certain times when it is hooter and the FAST is so GD fast that the air chuffing is ridiculously loud. The 3 years in this home I live in currently, I have been through 3 fans now. These are ALL CHINESE CRAP!!! I want my time back... I want to be able to charge Amazon or the seller for my 2+ hours that I WASTED building this thing and putting it up, then taking it back down and repacking. I now have to take this back down, disassemble and re-box and drive to the UPS Store to drop off. Then order another fan, wait for that one to arrive and hope for the best. This is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. The entire fan feels cheap - cheaper than most. The instructions are terrible (as others have mentioned)... showing things that do not pertain to this fan. One page shows the parts list and DOES NOT show/mention a "CANOPY RING". Then when you get into the actual installation, is shows a "CANOPY RING" and shows you how to install it. That would be fine IF THERE WAS ACTUALLY A GD CANOPY RING INCLUDED!!! Missing a critical part (see previous)... the canopy ring that covers the two silver screws was not in the box, so when you look up, you see the two screws exposed - looks dumb. The LED light... DUMB. Offers 3 different light colors (light temperatures), which is kinda nice feature, but you have to cycle through EACH ONE, EVEY TIME you turn the light on to get to the color temperature that you like.... WOW. Finally got it all hooked up, everything tightened well, etc. Right off the bat, the thing is making this "rubbing" noise. Sounds like the wood blades are hitting something as it spins. As you turn up the speed, it gets worse and then the fan (of course) starts to wobble. I implore anyone reading this to skip this fan and spend some more money... this is a total PILE OF S**T.
