This wheel chock set works great, especially considering the price. Installation was simple with the included hardware. I installed these on a trailer with a wooden deck and added a large washer to the nut side of the bolt, on the underside of the trailer, to help distribute the pressure of the tightened nut. I do have a strong recommendation to anyone installing these on a trailer with a wooden deck. I initially installed them directly to the surface of the trailer and they worked fine the first few times. After a few days, I found it VERY difficult to hook the latch mechanism to the wheel chock. It's like it just wouldn't go all the way under the chock, so I couldn't secure it down. I found what had happened is I tightened the chocks down so much, they became slightly recessed into the trailer deck boards and that was causing the latch to not hook easily at all. A few times I had to take a hammer to slightly tap the one side to get it to go all the way under the chock so it would seat properly. Keep in mind, this is NO FAULT of the wheel chock set, but I had to come up with a solution. I ended up buying a 100 pack of 1 1/2" diameter fender washers with a 1/2" center hole to use as shims to slightly raise the chock off the deck boards. I double stacked the washers for plenty of clearance so I needed 96 of them in total (12 per chock). This allowed enough clearance to easily hook the latch mechanism under the chock to secure it properly. If you use these on an aluminum or steel surface, this shouldn't be an issue you will run into. ... show more

Item as described, I will say the hardware may be too small. I will have to replace with better grade bolts. Other than that, the straps are long and wide. I have 30” tires and they fit around them perfectly fine with extra slack on the strap. Test drove the sidexside for a few miles and I felt pretty confident on the tie down. The only negative thing I can say is, the package was delivered damaged and some of the black paint on the brackets were scuffed and chipped. ... show more

I have these installed on a utility trailer for my sxs. They work well, so when I upgraded to an enclosed trailer for my sxs, it was a no brainer. These are relatively easy to install, and the quality is decent, except the hardware. These bolts, nuts, and washers are all low quality materials, but should work fine. I suggest adding larger fender washers to the underside of your trailer deck, if you cannot mount through the frame, and can only mount these to the deck. This will add strength to the mounting. These make loading and unloading my sxs a breeze. No more trying to find somewhere solid to hook a strap. Strapping down the wheels/tires is the ideal way to transport a car, atv, sxs, etc. This allows the suspension on the vehicle being transported to actually work and prevent any premature wear on the suspension components by not keeping them compressed during transport. These hold strong and I’ve never found them to become loose or need any adjustments, after initial attachment to the sxs. Definitely recommended. ... show more
