works fine and took about 90 minutes to assemble due to lousy instructions. if person writing instructions didn't speak perfect english i understand. my chinese isn't so good either! so why not ask someone to proof and translate? 1. instructions are poor AND have errors. 2. doesn't mention battery needed at all. EXCEPT where it says not included. says AAA and really needs AA. 3. first pg. says to attach "fixer." what? i skipped that and then at the end had parts leftover which were hard to install. 4. two stripped nuts (welded in place inside ) so no way for me to fix ... show more

Took about an hour to assemble. The only difficulty was figuring out the ignition switch which requires a AAA battery which is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. You just need to unscrew the ignition switch and add the battery. Then lighting the pilot light was easy. Puts out heat well. The instructions are a little confusing but it was not that hard to figure out. It was really great that they included extra hardware because one of the bolts was stripped. Works well and was easy to assemble. It requires a AAA battery for the ignition and this is not in the manual. This created some confusion but once we figured this out from other reviews we were good to go. It works as expected/hoped.

    • Gas line is no good and leaks

Product cost me time and money but does not work because of a faulty gas line with OPD connector. We were almost killed when the gas line spewed out gas and we almost suffocated. Dangerous product !!!
