I like to prop my feet up when sitting on my couch, and have long used a heavy ottoman -- nice-looking but a pain to move whenever it was time to vacuum the carpet. I wanted a replacement that would suit my decor and be easy to pick up. This item is very lightweight, blends in nicely, is exactly the right height for my feet, and was easy to assemble. The only drawback is that I have to make sure I center my feet on it or it starts to tip -- in other words, it can be somewhat unstable. One would have to be very careful if using it as a step stool. I purchased two Cpintltr Ottoman Outdoor Sea Grass Stool Poufs, one gray and one brown. The difference in coloration of the bottom portions is somewhat subtle. Both wobbled due to the length of one leg. This was easily remedied by shoving a small wad of paper into the leg support hole of the short leg. Otherwise, for thirty bucks, these are attractive, comfortable, and economic footstools. I use one of the footstools without its legs. Its 6-inch height is also comfortable. ... show more

I bought two of these and the variability in color is pretty intense. While they can hold a lot of weight, the slant of the legs makes them incredibly wobbly. I like the simplicity of the design and they are fine for my use, but a few minimal design enhancements could make these incredible.
