I love these little fans. Recently ordered two and one didn't work when received so they sent a replacement. Unfortunately I was gone on a trip and it was sent back without my knowledge because PO said I didn't pick it up in time. Also-if you take it to the beach, be aware that sand can get inside the tube where the water comes up through the sprayer if you're not careful, and don't get the area wet where the batteries are. As I’m sure everyone already knows, the summer heat here in California is often times unbearable. I was wanting something to cool off with, so I did some research on Amazon. I love how easy and convenient rechargeable fans are, but I also didn’t want to have to worry about keeping it charged. That’s why this one caught my attention, all you have to do is pop in 2 AA batteries and you’re good to go for a pretty long time. I also loved the fact that it has a mister. All that being said, I didn’t expect a whole lot, but I figured that since it was very reasonably priced, I’d give it a try anyways. I’m very impressed by the power this little fan has, and the mist takes it to the next level! It truly is very effective at cooling you off. I also love that the blades of the fan are soft, so you’re not going to hurt yourself if it hits you. You can also add ice to the water to cool you off even more. My only complaint is that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the battery cover does not stay closed. I have had the batteries fall out, so I might have to tape it closed. All in all, this fan may seem small, but it’s got power and it gets the job done for sure! Highly recommend that you try it out. ... show more

We don't have air conditioning in our house, so during the hot months, we're looking for any way possible to keep cool. These fans were an answer to our prayers. Even without the fan on, the water mists perfectly and helps to cool you down. With the fan on, you can downright chill yourself. We were actually a little sad when the temperature dropped and we didn't need them anymore! Battery installation is easy; but the flap can open a little too easily at times. One of our kids dropped the fan from just a foot or so up, and the batteries popped out, and we couldn't find them. Keep that in mind if you have kids who will be using these. ... show more

My kiddo wanted this mist fan for summer camp. It held up for the week of camp but on the last day the fan started to be finicky and unreliable. After another day or two it failed completely and was just a fancy spray bottle. We let it sit for a week or so and suddenly the fan works again, but my kid says it's not as powerful as it used to be. Not sure if water got into the battery compartment or what.
