    • Heats the water and prevents evaporation
Size: 16-FT x 32-FT
Have the clear 14-mil version. A month in, and I've been pretty happy. Installed in April, and within a week, the water temperature had risen 10 degrees, in SoCal (from 70 to 80). We do get lots of sun, and this was the first time we had ever swum in April in our pool. After another 70-degree week in May, we're up to 87. Without the cover, we certainly wouldn't have gained more than 5 degrees in the same span - we'd always loose a lot of heat in the cool nights. We have a kidney shaped pool, and it was fairly easy to stretch across the pool, draw the edge with a sharpie, and cut to size with scissors. I've left a few inches extra on all sides so that it wraps up the edge of the pool tiles, and leaves some flexibility when aligned it back to fit each time. Never have had trouble with wind blowing it away. But if you leave the edges long and curled up, rain water collects on top rather than flowing into the pool. Removal is a little tricky, but it can be rolled long-ways, and then rolled again into a manageable cylinder. It's not heavy to lift. It feels very sturdy, dragging it along our concrete. After some practice, typically 5-7 minutes to remove and reinstall, just 1 person. 2 people certainly make it simpler. A rectangular pool would also be easier. The warmth is nice, and we also haven't had any evaporation - so no pool refilling yet. I almost think it'll be too good: I don't want the water 90 degrees, but I do want to avoid evaporation in the summer. ... show more

First time with solar panel, no pool heater so wanted the clear to hopefully add heat from the sun faster...seems to have worked really well as the pool is too warm haha. Was easy to cut and install to the reel so all good here. Havent had issues rolling up flat with the flat strip in the middle as some other reviews have stated. ... show more

    • raises pool temp by 2 to 6 degrees then without a cover
Size: 12-FT x 24-FT
using a pool cover reel to move cover on and off pool and cover is easy to move. The temperature was in the low 90s for four days then dropped to high 70s to low 80s for a week. (Indiana) Over night temps were in low 50s over night and above ground 12x24x54 pool stayed temp stayed 74 to 78 degrees. Yesterday's outdoor temp was 82 degrees. Teenage granddaughter and two friend went to city pool for afternoon swim then came to our pool because city pool was too cold for them. ... show more

    • Sturdy quality cover
Size: 16-FT x 32-FT
I am happy with my purchase. This clear cover has increased my inground pool water temperature 9 to 10 degrees in 2 short weeks. Very happy. It also comes with a great warranty...just don't superchlorinate with the cover on. I am very pleased with this cover.

    • Works decently. Kind of heavy
Size: 12-FT x 24-FT
This is like super heavy bubble wrap. It works well. We get 8 degrees F of free warming from this. It’s a huge pain to put on and take off and requires 2 people. The clear plastic starts to get milky quickly in the sun. It’s easy to cut and shape to your pool. Gets dirty easily. For $150 it’s worth it. ... show more

    • Very Durable
Size: 16-FT x 32-FT
This is very sturdy. I will see how long it lasts to see if it was worth the extra cost.
