Love this hot water pot, it has brought so much convenience and joy to my family. My husband has stomach issue, like to drink hot water to help his stomach discomfort after a meal, this pot not only keeps water hot, it also boils water. We have used for almost 6 months, we just love it and couldn’t live without it. In the morning we use it for making instant coffee and hot water for tea through out the day. Also I like about this hot water pot is that it made of the highest food grade stainless steel ( my husband is a metallurgist, he knows how to tell the meta). Works very well keeps water very hot, I use for making coffee in a French Press. Some have a selectable temp, but would probably have made it more expensive. That is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

purchased this NutriChef hot water urn almost five months ago, and it has quickly become one of the most-used appliances in my home. I work from home and drink coffee constantly — but not traditional brewed coffee. I use mushroom coffee, concentrated coffee, and other healthier alternatives that all require very hot water, not a Keurig or coffee maker. I needed something for my coffee bar where I wouldn’t have to keep boiling water, microwaving mugs, or waiting around between cups. This urn has been an absolute game changer. I keep it plugged in from about 7:30 a.m. until 7:30–8:00 p.m. every day, and it keeps the water extremely hot all day long. It heats quickly, maintains temperature consistently, and has saved me a huge amount of time. I even reached a point where I just mix my coffee directly in the urn — so I essentially have hot coffee available all day. It’s efficient, convenient, and has held up very well with heavy daily use. The one issue — and why I’m still giving 5 stars When the unit arrived, I noticed a small tear in the rubber seal. I didn’t address it immediately because the urn worked perfectly, and I didn’t want to deal with returns. Fast forward about five months, the seal finally came off and wouldn’t stay in place. I searched Amazon and the company website for a replacement seal and couldn’t find one, so I reached out to customer service. While it did take some time for them to respond, what happened next genuinely impressed me. They asked if I had registered the product for warranty coverage. I hadn’t — and they still allowed me to register it five months later. They then requested very simple information (invoice and photos), and shortly after, they offered to replace the entire unit. I only had to cover shipping. That level of customer service is rare these days. I was fully prepared to buy a replacement part and fix it myself, but instead they stood behind their product and made it right — without arguing, deflecting, or hiding behind fine print.     • Bad choice for Shabbat urn. Does not keep water hot

Keep Warm setting does not keep water anywhere near warm enough for coffee or tea. (It keeps it at maybe 130 F) If you want to hit Reboil (and wait 10 minutes) every time you use it, I guess it could prove useful. Since we cannot do that, it is pretty much useless. And before you snarkily say "It says 'Keep warm,' not 'Keep hot,'" every similar urn I have owned has kept the water at a MUCH higher temperature. We have returned this item. ... show more

We bought in 2022 an identical product of the same brand. The release bottom broke even with a five year warranty. The new one came but the lid requires force to close which made me wonder how long this will last.

I absolutely loved using this for 3 years! I thought people would like to hear from someone that actually owned it along time, because thats who I would want to hear from. Then it finally stopped working, at exactly 3 years, it just stopped pumping water. I drink hot tea all day, and this holds a lot of water. It warms up fast and stays hot all day, so no waiting for your next cup. You can fill a cup as much as you want, just hold the button down until desired amount. This makes it easier to add hot water to things. It never had a bad taste or smell. I recommend it, but wish it came in white. ... show more
