This is a very nice treadmill. The written instruction for assembly are not very clear, but there is a video available that helps quite a bit. My husband and I put it together in about 2 hours. Everything works without any issues.

    • Tale of misery and disappoinment. Nordictrack apparently has no quality control
Buyer beware of this Nordictrack TSeries 8 treadmill. After paying delivery people $40 to move this block of the pyramids upstairs, I unpacked it and spent the next day putting it together in the hopes that when I plugged it in it would turn on. Imagine my extreme disappointment when it did not. Then paid local expert to fix it only to find that the console and monitor would not turn on. The unit was getting power and all electric connections that we dealt with were fine. Then had to disassemble the unit and somehow repack it to return. Extreme difficulty moving heavy running board down the stairs. Only bright spot was that amazon functioned flawlessly. ... show more

The product itself is great but the instructions on how to put it together are a nightmare, it took us 4 hours and I just feel like there is no way it should have been that hard

    • Not good for manual circuit training!!!!!
Buyer Beware!!! If you do any kind of circuit training manually, where you set your own speed & incline and then stop the treadmill to use weights, do push-ups, sit-ups, anything off the treadmill, this treadmill WILL STOP your workout after approx. 1 minute off the treadmill!!! It will state on its display "DONE" and you will lose all of your time, distance, etc. up to that point, and not give you the option of re-starting from where you left off. VERY DISSAPOINTING!!! My old C2400 would not "Time Out"", I could stop it and circuit train and get back on it right where I left off, it would not lose my time, distance, etc. Who in their right mind at NordicTrack would design this into their exercise machine, to "Time Out" and lose your exercise data if you get off the treadmill for more than a minute to circuit train??????? WTF!!! Also, I did not catch this before I purchased, but it does not have a speed button on the display for 4mph. It goes from 3 to 5mph on the display. My warm-up walking speed is right at 4-4.5mph, so you have to use the arrow speed buttons to set 4+mph. Kind of a pain. ... show more

    • Sturdy with enough speed and incline
This is my first treadmill, and am happy with the purchase. It is sturdy, room for water and phone. It is easy to move speed and or incline up or down. Don't need IFIT with this model, but can purchase if you prefer. I purchased the assembly and was worth the cost.

    • Well, well, well. What have we here.
I'm going to leave this review as a "report card", but bear in mind that I'm coming to this treadmill from a Nordic Track C2255 (the best treadmill they ever made). (The motor and control board finally gave out) A+ Ease of ordering on Amazon C- Supply chain delivery (late by 7 days) C- Condition upon arrival (box torn on all 4 corners and bottom) B+ Packaging (even with the extent of external damage, it arrived in good condition, but at the cost of extreme amounts of tape, wood, Styrofoam, and vacuum sealing. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it arrived safely, but I'm talking hours of just unpacking) F Ease of assembly (took all day and fought me at every turn of a screw and every connection of a wire) D Start-up (plugged it in for the first time...and nothing. We finally had to google only to find a toggle switch located at the main electrical connection site - not mentioned in the manual) C Overall impression of quality (tons of plastic, heavy beyond belief, very difficult to move, goofy angle of the tread when stored, dashboard skips speed and incline values - 1,2,3,x,5,6,7,x,9,10,x,12 forcing use of the "+" and "-" to arrive at my desired 3.9mph walking speed) All this to say that if I could have bought a brand new C2255, I would have bought 2, just to have another one just in case I needed another one within the next 10 years. It was of much better build quality, lighter but felt more robust, ergonomically perfect, a dream to store upright, easy to move, disassemble, and re-assemble, and the dashboard, storage and layout were superb to the Series 8. Even the simple safety tether was light years better. I mean, how difficult is it to screw that up) NEWER is not always BETTER. ... show more
