Fabulous frying pan! Be sure to season it with oil before using. I put a dab (and I mean a dab) of oil on it and spread with a brush before cooking and haven't had a single thing stick on it. Easy to clean too. Just wipe and you're done. Love it!

I was skeptical that a pan with a honeycomb pattern on the bottom could truly be "non-stick" but... This pan arrived well packaged and protected from shipping damage. You do have to put the lid together, but the tool required is included and it took just a few seconds. The lid knob is higher than my other pans and doesn't allow it to be stored upside down in the pan. The pan has a nice weighty feel to it. The edges are slopped just right, too. The weight and slope make it easy to pick the pan up and flip stir. Out of the box, the pan wasn't quite flat and rocked ever so slightly on my gas burner grates and griddle. (Yes, I checked it on multiple grates and against other pans AND with a level. It wasn't quite flat.) However, after three heat cycles, it settled down and is now solid. As for the non-stick, I tested against my favorite heirloom cast iron skillet. Warm pan, one spritz of canola oil and an egg in the middle of the pan. Lid on & wait 2 minutes, totally hands-off. At the moment of truth, both eggs slid effortlessly onto a plate! This pan has a place in my kitchen. A shorter lid handle would have been 5 stars.

First of all, the design and therefore the assembly of the glass cover and its grip top is terrible. As you screw the top into the screw plate below the glass cover you're concerned about screwing it too tightly and cracking the glass cover. At the same time, the metal plate holding the grip assembly could collect oil splatter if not tightly assembled, since there's nothing between the glass and the cup-designed metal plate; you face a dilemma, but you "soldier on" and see if it'll happen. The deal-breaker: when attaching the pan's handle (which comes detached for packaging purposes, that's "ok"), to the bolts, that should be welded onto the pan is so poorly done. One of the bolts easily separates from the pan with a modicum of force. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy. There's just too many (design and qualitative) flaws to even getting it replaced.

Eggs are fried well. Meat on low heat (the effect of stewing) is also good. But if you want to fry the marinated chicken fillet, the skin and marinade will burn quickly, even at the lowest temperature. Moreover, the skin falls off the fillet (there is no such effect in a Teflon pan). A frying pan for 72 bucks should generally cook itself :) therefore 3 points (3.5 maximum).
