I ordered "HORTICORA Non-Expanding Garden Hose 25 ft, Lightweight Hose & Flexible Water Hose With 10-Pattern Spray Nozzle, Kink-Free Design, Durable Leakproof Yard Outdoor Hose, Portable Storage Strap, 25 Feet" because I have numerous garden and flower beds and always need a reliable hose for watering from spring through fall. I also like hoses that make washing and cleaning our cars easier. This 25-foot length hose arrived in February 2026, and I was able to test it on a mild day in the 60s while washing the car. Overall, it’s fairly lightweight and feels about the same as other non-expanding hoses I own. What stood out to me compared to many other hoses made in China is the design of the plastic sheath around the hose ends. On cheaper hoses, the sheath can spin freely when disconnecting from a spigot, making it difficult to remove. This hose’s sheath is firmly anchored and doesn’t spin in either direction, which makes attaching and detaching much easier. Time will tell if this connection stays strong over time, but so far it feels sturdy and well made. The main issue I found is with the “kink-free” claim. While it does stay mostly kink-free when water is running through it, I had trouble when looping the hose for storage. When I unfurled it and tried to roll it into larger circles to fit into my canvas bag, it kinked in a couple of places. With water in the hose it’s much easier to manage, and it did better than some hoses I’ve purchased before, but the tendency to kink when storing it could weaken the hose over time. Despite that, the quality, build, and durability seem solid, and at this length the hose is a good value for the money. It’s certainly better than the cheapest hoses I’ve used, which sometimes fail on the very first use. Like many hoses made in China, there is a bit of unpredictability in longevity, so time will tell how it holds up with regular spring and summer use. This product is made in China. Because of the kink issue during storage, I’m rating it four stars, but overall it’s a reliable and convenient hose. length
