This is honestly the first house I’ve been able to get a hamster to consistently use. We have a larger breed hamster, and there’s plenty of room for him to come and go comfortably and still bury himself to sleep. I also love that it’s made of wood. Our hamster doesn’t chew on it, but I prefer natural materials over plastic just in case. It fits well in the cage and has been a great addition to his setup.

Sturdy and just the right size for my dwarf hamster Gimli. He was so excited when I put it in his cage -- Gimli kept running in and out, checking out his new digs! And I love that there was no assembly required!

This is just the cutest. I bought the small 3 chamber for a Syrian hamster. I was afraid it might be too small but it isn't. It is quite large in fact. My hamster loves it. It is so funny that he covers all the holes even the ones he goes through. I love that you can lift the lid and see him sleeping or when empty what he has done to it. I do wish he would do what others have said about their hamsters using the different squares to poop. It almost looks like he does everything in the one little square, but he is very odd. He will poop everywhere in his cage so it's hard to do spot clean ups. I really can't say anything bad about this. It is one of my favorite items in the cage. He has other hideouts but this is the one he stays in almost all the time. He will visit the others for a bit but that's it. He must feel very safe and secure in it. I highly recommend this.

I do like it, very spacious but it did come broken it is still useable I just wish it didn’t come split I thought this may be just how the hide is but I asked a few friends about there’s and it is not in-fact broke.

I am wintering over some deer mice I find in my house. In the warm weather I will release them outdoors. I put this house in their cage along with soft bedding. They love it. They sleep heaped up in a ball all day in it, and then they come out at night. I was debating whether or not to get the two-room or the three-room, and I am pleased that I got the three-room. First, two of the rooms have holes where they can pop in and out. While that is super, they have chosen the room without a hole to spend all day in. They like to be dark and cozy. So if I had the two-room, I imagine both rooms would have holes. Also, as I catch mice in my house (in a humane have-a-heart trap) I add them to the cage, so the extra space is good. This box is sturdy and beautifully made, as is everything I have ordered from the Night Angel brand. This box is quality, and so much better than the cardboard boxes I was using. When I first put a mouse in the cage, he/she is agitated and looking for a way out. When the mouse discovers this box he/she enters, calms down, and spends the day there sleeping. Intuitively, they know this is home.
