I bought this hat in two colors for my mom, and she absolutely loves them! She attends every one of her grandkids' sporting events and is always forgetting to bring a hat. More often than not, she'd spend entire games using her hand as a visor to block the sun. Not anymore! This hat folds up easily and fits perfectly in her purse, so she can take it everywhere without worrying about forgetting it. Even after being folded, it keeps its shape beautifully. I needed red had for a luncheon. This was the second hat I bought for this lunch with an old red had group - first one I sent back because it was too large. Since I only had one day before I needed it I sent for a second thinking it would fit and again too large but I was able to stich it ,it was made of cotton to have it fit somewhat. I don't have an unusual size head most hats fit except for the two I bought on Amazon. A friend bought one that was very small. I would not recommend buying hats on Amazon unless its a well known manufacturer. ... show more

Perfect hat to throw in your luggage or beach bag, keeps your head protected but it’s still comfy! The amazing thing was that even without a strap it never fell off once when we were on the boat in the wind! And I have a pretty small head and really thin hair!
