This air fryer does the job of a regular oven as well as air fryer. We have baked cookies, pizzas, and a pie! Raw chicken cooked in a short time and was perfect for my Caesar salad! Recently we even used it for some crafting like shrinky dinks and dehydrating oranges for a garland.

Great toaster oven with options for air fry, broil, toast, bake. Not too many options but the settings a person would most likely use. Easy to operate for oven temp, time and number of bread slices for toast. Recommend. The one I bought was reconditioned and there’s been no issues with it.

I wanted to replace my old Cuisinart air fry oven because of its size in my small kitchen. I liked the idea of the flip feature. I knew it was a risk to order a refurbished item, but I’ve had luck in the past. I was doing some work on my kitchen so this didn’t get opened right away, though it did arrive quickly. It looked nice and clean and the controls were pretty easy to figure out after watching a couple of YouTube videos. It did not come with instructions. It did come with the rack, a baking sheet, and a fry basket. I tried air frying some frozen fries first. The bag called for 400 degrees for 10 -12 minutes. It took ten minutes to preheat. After 12 minutes the fries were thawed, but limp and decidedly not crisp. Five minutes later, no change. Next I tried baking a personal size frozen pizza, which I cooked often in the Cuisinart. The directions were 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. (The old Cuisinart did great at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, no preheating.) Again, ten minutes to preheat. After 12 minutes, barely cooked. Switched to air fry for a few minutes which browned it, cheese was slightly melted, but toppings and crust were cold. Two different oven thermometers verified that it got to 400 degrees in ten minutes, but did not hold that temperature. It does toast if you set it higher than you’d like. I also noticed that the included rack did not fit correctly and fell down on one side. I wish I hadn’t gotten rid of the old one. I did get the protection plan, but my phone died and the emailed details were deleted. Guess I’ll toss this thing (I wouldn’t want the hassle of returning it anyway). I see there is a new model on sale for less than I payed for the refurbished one, so I think I’ll just order that. I have other Ninja products that work very well, I think this is just a fluke.

I received this renewed unit in perfect condition. I've used it for toast, air fry and to bake. What's amazing is the speed that it bakes in. Putting in the regular time it would take for my oven to bake pizza actually caused it to be burned. Today I made cinnamon rolls. Did the same but had to turn it off after half the usual baking time. They turned out perfectly after 10 minutes. Pre-heat is faster than expected, only about 20 seconds to heat to 400 degrees. So I learned to have the food ready to go when normally I would have to wait 10 minutes or so with my oven. I surely hope that this item will last a long time. The downloaded manual had tiny script and I had a hard time reading it. It's best to keep a file on your computer and zoom in. It does say that for the air roast function, time should be reduced by 30% and temperature by 25% when using a traditional recipe. I did not see these suggestions for the baking but know now to do the same. It's definitely wonderful to have especially now that I have an empty nest and need only cooking for myself.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is not a bad product, but it could be better. There is no way to tell what the buttons actually do. The instructions pretty much just read the words next tot he buttons. I just want to know what parts of the toaster they activate. These instructions are written by clueless people that simply have no idea how the unit works. It would be a bit better if it was slightly taller, an inch would do wonders for what you can fit in it. The small size and all stainless construction does however make it possible to crank it up to 450 degrees. The fries it makes are exceptional. Salmon and Steak come out better than most restaurants, but do make quite a mess.
