After four years living in our new home which had an older kitchen, and me hating the oven, I saw our friends using an Air Fryer for everything. My husband loved our Breville Toaster Oven we have and it has been great but I wanted something more. His complaint was he enjoyed his toast every day and an air fryer to him did not spell toast. Christmas was fast approaching and I just knew my request was a maybe so taking things into my own hands, I ordered an Air Fryer. When it arrived my sweet husband set it up and was going to surprise me. Thank goodness I looked at it first. It was smaller than our microwave. I knew I had not done may homework well enough and no way was it going to cook a pizza. Back it went. Studying every review for many brands, I looked up comparison charts and then announced we were getting this Ninja Air Fryer. After presenting the research I had done on the many models and makes, we together ordered this Ninja French Door model. This appliance has the French doors and they open together making it so easy to be one handed, loading chicken or anything else. Unwrapping the air fryer was like Christmas all over again. It comes so well packed and with each paper to unwrap comes another feature. It was so exciting to see each new piece imagining what the element would prepare for us. My photographs will show you up close the quality of packing and details of the fryer. By the time I thought about pictures, we had already induldged so the plate looks a little empty! Now, let me tell you about the chicken. I first tried out chicken wings. Great appetizer to set on the table? Not a chance! These were so good, they never made it to the table and dinner did not move forward. It was the best fried chicken I had ever had without deep fried chicken in grease! All we did was to rinse the wings, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, and drop them into a zip lock bag with corn starch. Shake them around to coat them evenly and into the air fryer with space around each wing. That’s it! I was raised in the deep south where fried chicken and corn bread were a weekly staple. The very next day my husband went back to the store and bought the value pack of chicken wings. He wanted to try the larger wings whole. They took longer to cook but they were as crispy. I also wanted to buy the boneless skinless chicken breast and slice them like tenders. These should have been breaded. The skin on the wings were better equipped to crisp up easier but still heavily. While the chicken was cooking, what better than fried potatoes with chicken and white pepper gravy to dip it all in? Onward to another course to add to our not dinner! Oh my! The potatoes were amazing. They were so good we took a plate full to our neighbor who was not feeling like eating anything. She only lives five minutes away and she called before my husband returned and had eaten all but one! So, potato wedges we’re next to try. And honey roasted carrots. The cookbook offers a one pan meal with a protein and vegetables roasted. Oh my gosh! Baking corn bread was another find. Our pizza was too large as it was rectangular but we will do it again smaller or round. Next we tried the Carne Asada recipe in the cookbook that came with the air fryer. I had never cooked flank steak. The marinade they have in this recipe is crucial. A tough cut of meat was as tender as any filet mignon! We did cook it about three minutes longer to sear it darker. So far nothing is not just wonderful. Every night we just try something different. I cannot tell you how long its been since we have had so much fun playing with recipes to cook in our oven! This air fryer has brought life back to the kitchen. I do wish it were larger but it does fine for the two of us and with planning, an easy way to prepare many dishes for company. Enjoy this oven we believe from our results, and comparing its to other brands with our friends, surpasses any other. One last thing. We are bad at buying new gadgets and they end up on a wire rack stored in the garage, used only once. This unit is attractive, fits nicely on the counter, takes up less room than our toaster oven, works far better than the conventional oven, cleans easily, and a joy to own. Oh, that toast my husband was concerned about…he makes every day in the air fryer and its better than any toaster we have ever used, or even the toaster oven we now have in a mini upstairs kitchen. I love this unit. Bought it as gift for daughter. Baked. Toasted. Air fry. Preheating is super fast. Very intuitive. Frankly, if my own unit wasn’t so new, I’d buy this Ninja air fryer/ oven for myself. Compact footprint as well. You won’t be disappointed with this product. Ninja for the win again.

Replaced my old toaster oven with this one. Already had a small Ninja air fryer which I used occasionally. This air fry oven does not disappoint. It heats up quickly, has a variety of settings and large cooking area. The French doors easily open and close with one hand and are out of the way when adding or removing accessories or food.

Looks great on the counter and does a great job. I really like the fact that you can open both doors with one hand, as they work together. Toasts very evenly. Tall enough to get larger dishes in it. I previously had the Ninja flip toaster oven, which I really liked…but I was limited on how tall an item I could bake in it. This one is exactly what I wanted. I checked many reviews before purchasing, and this oven was very highly rated.

Love this thing. As soon as I saw ninja release this model I was hooked. I don't have allot of extra counter space so needed something the same size as my kitchen aid oven. The double doors open together with 1 hand and the light turns on when you do. I wanted an air fryer but this does way more. 10 different settings from air roast to dehydrate. I don't have to turn on my oven and wait. Heats up quickly and very easy to clean afterwards. Seems like this will hold up get nicely and well worth the money.

What I love about this Air Fryer: - the french doors open all the way and can be operated with one hand if needed. - the basket, racks and grill pan are very good quality and easy to clean. - I can cook a full meal in a short amount of time - I save a little bit of energy by not having to use my regular oven - the controls are easy to figure out and don't clutter the top of the Air Fryer with countless buttons and dials. - the size means it can stay on my countertop at all times. - the sides get hot during the cooking process, but the top only gets warm enough to pre-warm our dinner plates. - clean up is easy, the pans and racks go in the dishwasher, the oven surfaces can be wiped with a damp rag. What I don't love: - Using the basket and grill pan at the same time is almost impossible if the items on the grill pan are tall. I can't roast a chicken and make fries at the same time. I have to wait for the chicken to be done, then rest it in my regular oven on the warm setting before making the fries. - The basket is large, but items that sit on top of each other (like fries or veggies) don't cook at the same time. Either I have to constantly rotate the food or shake the basket or make that food in several batches while keeping part of it warm in my regular oven. - the grill pan is very shallow and easily fills with liquid when roasting a chicken or making sheet pan meals with lots of Veggies. - lean meats and Veggies dry out quickly if not covered during the cooking process which makes for longer cooking times. - the recipe book is useless. This is a great way to make simple one pan meals, make a pizza and even bake a loaf of bread, but for more complicated meals with lots of ingredients I still have to rely on my regular oven.

Works pretty well! Cooks the food thoroughly hot but you have to watch the temperature. If you don’t like your salmon too overly cooked too done; just watch and gauge your fish. You can see how you want your salmon done. Adjust the time by maybe 3 minutes less. It toasts the bagels really well. Play and try cooking the foods you like a few times and you’ll get the hang of adjusting temperatures. I like the light in the oven. You can see your food if it’s done or too done . Then you can stop cooking if you feel the food loooks done. The size is good! Not too bulky! Buttons are easy to use!
