First thing, this is very easy to use and set up. Took me about 3 minutes from opening the box to printing a label. That being said though, the labels are small (see attached pictures) and if you add more than 2-3 lines, it is hard to read. The good news is that the NIIMBOT manufacture offers different sizes, types and colors of labels for this unit that gives the user choices. And they are not costly either! As these are thermal printers, what label roll you purchase determines what color label you get. The label I show is the original that came with the printer, and it is white with black letters. But the manufacture offers a bunch more that have color background and writing. Read the descriptions carefully to get the desired outcome you are looking for. Just remember that this is not your average computer printer that has onboard inks to print colors where you want them. These color labels have the ink inside of the paper which is released when the thermal printer activates it. Just don't be fooled by some of the pictures shown, because they are captured close up. (Look at the label on the half gallon Milk Bottle.) All in all, this label printer is going to be very handy to have around. I can see many uses for it. ... show more

Really great label maker for so cheap and the labels are super cheap too compared to what you find at the store. Way better than anything you'll find at the store and great for making cute designs. Easy to use as well. Would definitely reccomend. I'll update this review if it stops working at some point. ... show more

This printer is perfect for printing labels for my sister’s side business and as well as labels for my baked goods. We recently used them for Christmas labels and were perfect! They do not smudge and the print quality is great. The app is super easy to use. Connects to your phone via Bluetooth pretty quickly, doesn’t take long to connect. If you print more than 30 labels at once, it will overheat, but it stops to cool down. So that safety feature is great. ... show more

The printer is great. It has very good clarity and definition. What I wish I knew before buying is to get the better templates you have to purchase them. Other than that it worked after charging as expected. App easy to get and use.

It was working ok for 2 months until I was unable to connect to my computer anymore. I contacted their customer support and they were not helpful. The charging port is not secure. I followed their instructions on using different cables and they said that there was nothing I could do except buy another one. I will not be buying another one. ... show more

    • Not what I expected

This thermal printer prints basic labels pretty good. It's clear and lines up well. The app is OK but was kicking me out a lot even attempting to print drafts I've made. It keeps saying there is a big and closes the app and disconnected the machine. As far as photo prints, it doesnt do as hips of a job as i thought it would. Pictures are not very detailed. Washed out or top dark. It does not print in red at all even with the red and black labels I purchased, it still only prints in black ( not as advertised. ) The customer service at niimbot needs work too. They don't listen very well and take a long time to actually answer questions and when they do, they just go in circles when trouble shooting. I dont recconend this product. It doesnt print in red and black as they say it should. I porches the labels they said I needed and it still didn't work. I expected the quality to be better at that price. The labels were easy to load. It didn't tell me when the labels were almost out. It just violently grinned and clicked when labels ran out as F wouldn't stop until I opened it. Not good for longevity I would assume. The look is cool. Retro. But I need it for functionality. If you just want to print baddies labels, it's OK. But I needed more. It charges via USB c. So that's good at least. Lol ... show more
