I've used the dishwasher on all of the utensils, pots, pans, and the baking sheet. They've held up to the dishwasher and cooking for the past few months so they seem like good quality for their cheap price so far! I also love how many lids it comes with since even the frying pan has a lid. Other reviews complained about how small the pots and pans are, but the sizes are listed in the description. Sometimes a small pot or pan is useful, especially for desserts or just one person so I like the variety. I do often need a larger frying pan so I have a separate larger one, but I don't often need a larger pot than the one that came in the set. The only item that was shockingly small was the smallest pot, but it's good for a sauce pan or instant ramen! I didn't expect much from the utensils, but they're a nice addition. However, the ladle/spoon is pretty flimsy and can't be a substitute for a wooden spoon or anything. The whisk can for liquids and the spaghetti spoon I have no issues with. We have a set of Farberware kitchen knives, so we took a chance on getting this set of pots & pans. We've had them for several months now, and are enjoying them. It feels nice having a bunch of pots & pans that actually match, without spending a fortune. The aqua color is pretty. They're very lightweight, but seem sturdy enough for years of everyday casual use. Most of the pieces came with glass lids, which was nice. The set came with a few thin plastic cooking/serving utensils as well; we've been using these utensils and running them through the dishwasher without incident. For the actual pots & pans, they say they're dishwasher safe. However, the fine print recommends hand washing -- which is what we do with pots & pans anyway. They wipe clean easily, especially if you spread a little olive oil around before cooking. Overall, we recommend. ... show more

As a college student in her new apartment, I needed my own kitchen set that was relatively cheap and durable. I have used other Farberware products in the past, and decided to try this set. After using this item for several months, I am pretty happy with my purchase. The red color is very nice and looks great in my kitchen. There is a variety of sizes with several different saucepans. As for the pots and pans, the handles are heat-resistant and safely secured. They heat up quickly and the matching lids work just fine. The pots and pans aren't the largest, but they work well for cooking for two people. My only complaint is that the utensils that come with the set aren't the best quality (the whisk is especially frustrating to use as it is very flimsy), but in general they work alright. I didn't deduct a star from the review because I considered the utensils and cookie sheet to be extra items. I usually place everything in the dishwasher, and I haven't had any issues doing that. I ordered these to use temporarily until I could get a more costly set. BUT upon receiving them I might keep them a bit longer. My only draw back is I have a family of 4 and they are much smaller than the set I used to have. But their color is great and they are pretty decent for the price. Now I am especially careful with them however as they are coated in teflon. But all in all if you need a inexpensive small set of pots this is a good deal (also when I bought these I went with this color because for some reason it was cheaper than the others) Another bonus I was surprised by was the large frying pan has a lid! (Most other sets I've ever gotten don't have lids for either frying pan.) However the small frying pan doesn't which is fine because it's too small for me to use. The down side (besides the size) is the utensils that came with it....they are very flimsy, but if you're in a pinch and NEED a quick cheap cooking set they will work just fine. So all in all I give then 4 stars (took away one star due to the size) ... show more

Bought this to replace a similar set same red color from 2016. My kids scratched the heck out of the 2016 nonstick. This set is WAY lower quality. The three larger pans could not be made of thinner metal. The two frying pans are not flat on the bottom. This was an open box return on sale for $57 from Amazon Warehouse.
